Wraith Build - Room to Improve

So I've been dumping everything I can in to unlocking teachable perks and building my Wraith. I really like this killer for various reasons so that's my focus.

Anyways -

What I've been trying, with some success, Nurse's Calling, Predator, Deer Stalker, and then an ever changing 4th with my sights set on Bitter Murmur. I'm looking forward to trying Sloppy Butcher in place of Predator as well.

The addons I'm using are All Seeing and Windstorm(?), the one that reduces reappearing time.

Anyways the strategy I'm employing is more focused on chasing, landing one hit, and eventually downing at least one survivor. Hooking the first survivor is a bit circumstantial. If there's someone close by I just leave the one survivor alone in the dying state and go after the next one.

It's a bit hit-and-run but I'm trying to suppress their progress by keeping them having to run, hide, and heal. I get to use Nurse's Calling and All Seeing to aid in tracking them, Deer Stalker to help keep track of anyone I left dying.

The play style seems to do well with keeping the survivors separated and utilizing Deer Stalker, well, dying survivors are great bait.

Anyways like I said I'm experimenting with it and enjoying it. Last two games for me were both 4K.

I don't have BBQ & Chili though, or Knockout(?), the one where survivors can't see a dying survivor outside of a certain radius. I need to keep feeding the Cannibal.

So that's the current set up: Nurse's Calling, Deer Stalker, Predator, All Seeing, Windstorm. Already have, and will use Bitter Murmur and Sloppy Butcher once they've been changed. The build is hit-and-run, drop'em, and selectively hook.

Thoughts?

    My though is pretty simple.
You should buy pidgeon poop wraith skin (aka Candle Wraith) and get ready to get shat on while you climb the ladder.

On a more serious note, I personally use :
Ruin, Enduring, Brutal Strength & NOED.

He's a pretty basic killer that needs so much things to be viable it hurts, hence, the basic build.

I'm so leery of Hex perks. I've got NOED and I've never gotten to actually use it.

Am I the only person who believes he should be able to hit someone while cloaked? Like he’d still get out of cloak and do the weapon wipe but I feel it’d make him a tad better

Yes, I absolutely believe he should have the ability to perform an attack while cloaked. Definitely not the ability to down a survivor no matter what. But that first strike, yeah.

NC is almost essential on him
Ruin is a must on all killers, sadly
BBQ is good for points, knowing is survs are camping the hook and better map pressure (since you know where they might be
The fourth slot is optional, but I use MYC - it is quite effective on him, OR Tinkerer with the best decloaking addons.

    On my Wraith, I run:

->BBQ for the BP and the snowball effect, Wraith does travel the map fast, so that helps.
->Make Your Choice because it’s amazing on Wraith. You can come back and find the exposed guy pretty easily. You can even manage to down both easily if the unhooked guy is still injured.
->Bamboozle for the windows which, tbh, are what really hurt Wraith.
->Pop Goes The Weasel as when you get a hook, you find people on gens with BBQ, go for one, fake the uncloak for them to waste Sprint Burst and bash the generator. Then depending if they went for the save or not you go back to the hook for Make Your Choice or you chase the guy.

With the Tinkerer perk rework coming though this could change I'd guess.

Aren't all killers getting a baseline buff?

To be honest, the Tinkerer rework will cripple Wraith even more, as he completly relies on his addons with Tinkerer to be somehow viable.

A baseline buff? What do you mean? The only ones that are getting buffed are Trapper and Hag (mid-chapter patch), then MAYBE the Wraith (but they do not even know when, so it will be a far date).

Think TydeTime mentioned if in a video. I think he said something along the lines of all killers are getting sped up a tiny bit since Tinkerer will no longer function the same.

That's how I understood it, could be wrong.

    Edit*

Here's the video, he starts talking about this around 8:30

    1. BBQ (Will never play a Killer without it again... i mean 2x Bloodpoints and know where the next surv. is)
    2. Ruin (Sadly á must have Perk for high Rank Killers)
    3. Nurse Calling (Sneak up on them ^^)
    4. Thanatophobia (Seems not to be the Favo. Perk here but: Combined with BBQ it is active almost ALL the Time... combined with ruin it makes gen needs more time... combined with Nurse calling makes them heal longer and you able to find them better)

Im a PS4 Rank 1 wraith and most of the Time they cant fix even 2 Gens... in my opinion the Strongest build for wraith. But you need to be really quick to find, hunt and strike the next Survivor (use BBQ). AND DONT CAMP!!! Wraith is a Hunter, with surprise powers... not a Camper -_-

    Valuable feedback from all.

I'll have to experiment with some of these when I'm able.

I've got it in my mind that there's got to be some benefit to a lot of visibility perks. Maybe the upcoming Bitter Murmur with NC with BBQ with Deer Stalker with All Seeing. I'd assume with Wraith's speed he'd be able to keep a lot of pressure on survivors with them being exposed (potentially) so frequently.

If I can run him where he's at least okay, and I'm actually having fun, I'll be happy. Not going for rank 1 here. Just trying to enjoy the game for the time being.
