Is the game worth coming back into?
Have quit 2 months ago to play Monster Hunter since the meta was boring and survivor unplayable cause of tunneling.
Worth coming back for the new update?

If you didn't enjoy the game two months ago, nothing has significantly changed that would make you start enjoying it more, especially on survivor side.

Thanks, I'll stick with peacful life then.

Absolutely not. SoloQ is worse than it was, the HUD changes improved life about 0.00%. If you are having fun with other games, there is zero reason to waste your time on DBD.

2 months lol
2 years at a stretch might be different, but 2 months aint even the gap between chapters.

Yeah but i've seen on youtube tons of videos and "game breaking" updates so I wanted to ask.

Not really.
I've been playing the game since like 2018 or 2019 and honestly even after 4 years the game hasn't changed that much. The core gameplay loop is still the same with the same issues that tunneling is the best strategy by a mile. Doesn't help the devs often nerf perks that help killers to not tunnel due to stats.
Past year or so, I've played much less because frankly as much as I enjoy the game, it's very stale. New killers are hit or miss. New perks are often very weak with a few that have the possibility to even see regular use let alone become meta.
As for youtubers calling "game breaking updates". That's an exaggeration for views. Even if the changes for 6.7.0 are bigger than usual, they are still pretty tame.

Not really worth it unless you swf

This.. ☝️ Solo queue is unbearable.

I literally had a hostage merchant stall the game long enough to where the server crashed.

I had it for about 45 minutes and just let her kill me, it wasn't worth it. The game is so broken right now.

I feel like keeping Prove on as a standard perk because I will not be held hostage again

The only way you'll know is by playing a couple of matches.
