Will Boil Over Exploits Ever Be Patched?

Ever since the wriggle rework I've been seeing more people use Boil Over. This isn't usually a big deal, but on a few maps, more people are catching on to the exploit spots (top of the building on iron works for example). If a survivor goes down in those spots Boil Over makes it functionally impossible to move the player to a hook without them going free, and if they get free they just run right back to the same spot. It's especially bad when I have to just leave them there and I watch in real-time as another player in the lobby with Boil Over catches on and runs straight there when injured every time.

I've been playing this game for less than a year, so can anyone tell me if this is something with a longer history than recent? Has BHVR said anything about it?

    Just leave them there to bleed out? It’s just a distraction technique. All the time they are up there, they aren’t doing gens.

    You can try to play full slugging if you want to try win.

    Or just down that player doing this and watch him bleed out.

    It's not about winning, it's about message.

    They aren't doing generators, so they're hurting their team more than anything. A killer can also strafe with Boil Over to get to a hook faster.

    I really don't know why anyone would want to run this perk unless they're hoping to annoy the killer. I document my killer matches and have seen survivors get more value out of Flip Flop than Boil Over.
