Math behind botany knowledge

The old Circle of Healing (CoH) perk gave you and oppotunity to self heal with 50% speed and with perk Botany knowledge (Bk) that increase your healing speed by 50% resulting self healing speed was 100% (the progress bar was gray in process). So the math behind CoH and Bk was 50%+50%. My recent testing of Bk with Self-care (Sc) that let you to self heal with 35% of normal healing speed shows that the math behind Sc and Bk for some reason works differently not like 35% + 50% but like 35% + (35/2)% ≈ 52%. I made such conclusion based on resulting self healing time (≈31 seconds in my tests).

The question is why combo of Sc and Bk stacks differently than combo of old CoH and Bk. Could you describe the math behind these two perk combos? Or should i contact you in some other way to get answers to my questions?

The math works the same for both.

    Self-Care + Botany is (1 [default] + 0.5 [Botany]) * 0.35 [Self-Care] = 0.525c/s, or 52.5%.

Old CoH + Botany was 100% healing speed but it wasn't just 50% + 50%. It was (1 [default] + 0.5 [CoH] + 0.5 [Botany]) * 0.5 [CoH self-heal debuff] = 1c/s, or 100%. The old Circle of Healing increased your heal speed by 50% but also applied a 50% penalty to all self-healing actions without a medkit.

Generally speaking, positive modifiers are additive, negative modifiers are multiplicative.
