FPS drops/low FPS since the mid-chapter

Per title.

First, all my in-game settings get reset with 0 warning and the next thing I know I'm playing on 30-40 FPS whilst my CPU is at 30% usage, my GPU at 60% and my RAM at 50%.

(Yes, I changed back my graphic settings as they were)

I don't understand why I'm playing on potato FPS when my PC is obviously not bothered.

P.S. Giving the good ol editing on the user file to uncap your FPS works. Issue at base remains

    I'm on Switch.. No graphic settings to change whatsoever, and I'm dropping down to 30fps randomly... Reminds me of the old counterstrike days with still animation of legs running.

    I've noticed it happening on ps5 . Happens especially bwhen dropping pallets.
