New Killer Trend After Update
So, I recently came back to DBD in hopes the latest update would be worth playing. For a few days, the game was fine. But now, I'm noticing that almost every single match, the killers are slugging all survivors and bleeding them out.
Now, I know we have perks like Unbreakable which can only be used once per match. The killers doing this aren't using any Hex totem perks so Soul Guard wouldn't work.
It's things like this that made me stop playing in the past to begin with. Multiple players using the same strategy to draw out games to where nobody can really do anything but wait it out. Plus, when it's happening almost every match, the game becomes even more boring.
I'd really like the devs opinion on this because to me as a player, when every single match involves slugging the entire team and bleeding them out, it makes me want to stop playing again.
Not to mention the killer then runs around and moves back and forth or t-bag our bodies while we bleed out. I find this level of toxicity needs to be dealt with and I'm unsure how it can be stopped.
just wanted to share my thoughts and opinion on this and see if anyone else has noticed this happening frequently as well. I really want to like this game, but the bullying and toxicity is whats drivijg me away.

Forget it. I've uninstalled the game again. It's not worth my time, money and energy.

I think you're over exaggerating. You're not getting slugged every single match.
Also, don't worry. Basekit unbreakable is coming so you can get up infinite times.

It looks like you've played one match, taken 2 screenshots, got slugged and complained here and uninstalled afterwards, same match, same build, same small game tokens, same obsession, same gen count.
It's obvious Mikaela picked up Rebecca and just got downed.
You've just crawled to a different spot after taking the second screenshot (can tell by how much you've bled out)

Some killers are really mad that their gen regression perks got nerfed so they are taking their anger away on survivors. On their head, it was survivor players who nerfed it so they need to suffer by being held hostage in a lost match for.... 4 minutes. They also don't see the irony in every single killer easily getting a 4k through slugging while claiming the game is survivor sided and that the patch benefitted survivors.

I’ve seen it once out of 20+ matches since Wednesday. Really hope it does not start to trend. Talking players who literally slug everyone and then make them wait bleeding out.

I haven't been slugged and left to die for about 4 years. I very rarely get slugged at all, so little in fact, that I keep pondering the decision to run Flip Flop.

Screenshots are from one game. My second to last game. I probably should've taken more screenshots but I felt it wasn't worth it because I was frustrated with the last match of the night being the same. Plus, I have to take the screenshots on my Xbox, go and download them to another device just to upload them here. It's tedious and honestly, like I said not worth doing it over and over to prove a point.
I wanted to know if others in the community had the same thing happen to them. I'm not here to argue or complain over one match. That's pointless. Sorry I didn't have screenshots from every single match. I'm not a streamer or content creator so I don't generally do it.

It is constant and non stop. The only replies I have received is "get good" or " join a swf". I don't want to and that doesn't work for everyone one. The game isn't fun anymore and players are leaving in droves. This isn't a way to get people to come to play or is it a way to get people to come back. The amount of people speaking just from their own POV is astounding.

First of all, I don't sit at the exit gate and teabag the killer. Second of all, if I had done that, it wouldn't be for 4 minutes. Third, how would you feel if almost every match in the past couple of days was nothing but killers slugging everyone, then proceed to pretend to have non consensual intercourse with them over their bodies as they bled out?
The toxic, childish mindset you displayed here is one of the reasons why this game isn't worth my time and energy on. I'd rather play other competitive games where the majority of players aren't of a toxic mindset.

I really don't care about tunneling or camping. Face camping at the beginning of a match isn't great, but it's not 4 minutes back to back of doing nothing. Some of these slugging matches were longer than 4 minutes because one person would still be up, running around to pick up the other survivors.
As for gens, I think they really shouldn't of messed with the gen regression perks. As long as I'm able to actually play the game, it's not an issue.

Yesterday I played about 15 games. 9 of them our teams were slugged and they weren't short matches either because as soon as one or two went down, one or two would get back up. Rinse and repeat. I literally had a Myers slug us all, move back and forth over our bodies, pick us up, let us go and slug again. The screenshots I had a similar situation without the gross sexual innuendos where the Wraith was picking us back up to just wait for us to get another survivor up and slug us again.
None of this was to actually play the game, but rather make the game excruciating.

Wednesday is when I had maybe two matches, but by Friday it was about 9 matches with some back to back.
And they weren't just letting us bleed out from the start. They'd let one get another survivor back up and then slug that person so we were swapping each other out just to make the match longer. I really don't know the mindset behind it but thats what it was like.
I do hope I am wrong so I can come back, but until then, I don't have have the time and energy to just play a game where we just get slugged over and over and can't do anything.

Lmao. I don't understand why people are so triggered by this post. It's someone else's experience and they shared, asking for others to reach out of they have also experienced it.
Sometimes people post things about how they never see a certain killer anymore. While I'm reading it, thinking wow thats the opposite for me, I frequently play against that killer. I don't react by calling them a liar because I experience something different.
I also have been experienced a lot more slugging lately myself, daily. Whether its everyone gets slugged, the killer waits for you to get healed to hit ya down again, or they let you go to hit ya down or most common at end game, or when only two are left, the killer doesn't hook a downed survivor to look for the one remaining survivor who could find the hatch.
Some people are easily triggered by certain game play and will leave for a ridiculous reason. Now when you get slugged and don't get picked up, it is boring and very much a waste of that person's time. You are unable to do nothing but wait. People give up, disconnect, or if they do get hooked purposely die on the hook, or they crawl around so they die faster when slugged.
When slugged its not necessarily the killers fault you were left that way, the other survivors can also prolong this by not coming to rescue. But from their perspective a body unhooked usually means you're being baited into a trap, especially when you can confirm no one else is being chased pursued.
