Fearmonger lowkey S tier now?

Never really bothered with fearmonger before as most people ran Deadhard and with how fast you could heal yourself by the time you hit them and got them to the injured state fearmonger was up and they could use deadhard. Now that they are more likely to stay injured for longer and use perks like Sprintburst and Lithe I started using it.

IT HAS BEEN GAMECHANGING. Most of the time I will now go an entire match without being affected by exhaustion perks, and when I check the endgame build of the survivors they all usually have Sprintburst or Lithe but I never seen them now. Anyways highly recommend running it now xD

It’s also a counter to Fogwise.

As a SB + Vigil user, I've always been of the mind that Fearmonger is a Sprint Burst buff.

Since the game was more about kicking Gen instead of chases that's what happened

But at least it hasn't been changed...

Don't know why more killers use this perk, as a survivor main I would rather see any regression then that damn perk

It's really good ! It's also easy to forget someone's been hooked when you don't see their aura (and when you're not 100% focused on the game), leading sometimes to completing the gen and after a few seconds going "Wait X is hooked and on second stage ??".

The blindness is also just a great extra bonus

    Trash perk. Along with Lethal.

But by all means, don’t listen to me. Keep on running it.

I could care less about the exhaustion. It's the blindness I hate.

Killer main here and when I play survivor I hate hate hate this perk. I actually wish they'd get rid of the aura part. Negating every aura perk in the game just because I'm doing the objective is really crappy. The part where I'm exhausted is annoying and troublesome but in a way that feels fair and has some counter play (let off the Gen any time killer gets close just in case).

I will run it more on my killers who tend to sneak up on gens. For all the moaning about the patch I see, I'm actually excited at more chase and aura perks like this one and new gearhead (super useful!)

This is very true, for players that don't greed gens and get off long enough to outlast the 5 seconds it is a buff, most of the time though I find they greed the gen

I don't think its that strong or weak. The blindness doesn't do all that much and the exaustion can be both good and bad. I'd say its low A-tier, around where Jolt should be.

It’s a well designed perk. It counters Fogwise, Kindred, Empathy, Bond, Alert, WOO etc to some extent. However I wouldn’t call it oppressive and more of an annoyance in my Survivor games.

I've started to come around to it. It's not gamebreaking but it's a pretty solid perk. One I can't really judge a killer for using
