Hello. I’m keep geeting kicked out of the game for no reason and get a dc penalty. At that moment, i was just opening a chest, when my game bugged and this happened. it’s because “you lost your internet connection” but my wifi was working. After that i had a 48h dc ban, and before that the connection was lost too. And this happened AGAIN when i tried to play dbd right after the 48h ban(!). it was my first game and the dc happened again, and it’s not even an internet issue, i was playing other online games and it never happened, it just happens in dbd. Noticed it happens after the update. Now i have 72 hours banned. What should I do with this?

    DBD is not the most stable of online multiplayer games, and anyone brave enough to run it over Wi-Fi risks these connection issues.

    Back when I streamed this game from my Xbox1x I would occasionally get these same disconnects. The stream stayed up, if I was in a chat party that too was not interrupted, so my Internet is not die just then. This is with a wired connection over very good Internet service.

    I never got more than a five minute penalty myself, as I would reset everything when I would get tossed out. This seemed to help some.

    For you to amass 48 hours or more in penalties this must happen to you quite often. If you can run a wired connection, and if not DBD might not be for you right now sadly.

    Thanks for your reply! I run wired connection. In general, before the problem with the Internet (with which everything is fine), the game often crashed on my desktop (like problem with anticheat idk why) and because of which I got penalty often. But after the update, it crashed constantly because of the connection, that's why I have so many hours penalty.

    Support wrote me recommendations that I can do and I hope it will help.

    I'm using wifi on a mobile hotspot and never had this issue. I consider myself lucky that it works lmao.

    Yeah I keep getting disconnected it's annoying, especially when I'm playing games where I don't have to tunnel.

    The game's been doing this for a long while. It gets worse after some patches.
