PS5 huge fps drop after the update

Hi. I'm a very active player and I play this game daily 5-10 hours and I tend to notice even small little problems and differences in the game. After the latest update on PS5, the game feels super laggy and animations are not smooth at all anymore.


I have a brand new gaming TV, and it used to show 120fps for this game before the update. Now it's stuck on 60fps so thats 50% worse than it was before. The game literally looks like I would play a PS3 game.


All my PS5 friends have noticed the same issue, all the animations are just super laggy. I tried with other games, they worked fine 120hz/120fps. Pls fix this 🥲 Ask for more details if needed.

    I can confirm the same.

    1. The gen pistons move at (what looks like) less than 15 FPS
    2. On Saloon, the environmental animals also move at less than 15 FPS
    3. Final hook death with the entity, tally screen - FPS drops considerably
    4. Several other animations as stated by OP

    I do have some videos to show this. The game looks worse than it did on PS4, ONLY after this mid chapter.

    I use a gaming monitor, with reduced latency/ super fast response and no setting changes solved the FPS issue.
