What happened to Unbreakable base-kit
I have been playing this newest rift (04/23) and I have been consistently slugged in close to half of my matches. And I’m not talking slugging for a minute or two and then hooking. I’m talking slugging the lobby and forcing survivors to 4% off hooks or wiggle to even try and save the game at all. Camping, slugging, toxic killers are ruining the game

It was a colossal failure so they benched it. Same with the end-game mori. Being sluged for 4 minutes sucks, but survivors using tenacity to crawl into corners of the map with boil over sucks too. Letting survivors get up is basically giving them a free no mither if their friends can harass or taunt the killer enough or they can manage to hide, go over to pallet with power struggle, etc. As with many things that increase quality of life for survivors, they will often get abused and channeled aggressively (see borrowed time body blocking). So it's a balancing act and that one was a bridge too far.

Just to clarify something here, Unbreakable as basekit was part of a much bigger test - it was never suggested that any part of the features tested would be implemented on their own...so the whole finisher mori was considered as a whole package, not one bit without the other.
It was purely a PTB to test this early version, we needed the early feedback so that the designers could see the whole reaction and see what areas would need to be adjusted/changed etc. We tried to be clear that this was just a test, nothing was confirmed.

I'm afraid they're going to go full sunk cost fallacy and double down on this disaster given some responses like "we're taking feedback into consideration" and "it was just an early version".

Please anything but that. Scrapping that whole thing would be one of the best decisions BHVR could ever pull. Just let the Killer mori the last survivor in the trial and move on.

O unbreakable is only a one time shot which is kinda bullshit
