do you feel like the pig needs some buffs to be a bit better in this new dbd environment?
As a pig main i feel she is underwhelming and in need of buffs to help her gain more kills and pressure, but without being oppressive (especially with the pigs who tunnel those with a reverse bear trap fore pressure). her reverse bear traps can oppressive and can gain pressure barring the add ons and the perks to ge them off the boxes and gain a second objective (plaything, face the darkness, thwack, etc.) whereas her ambush and stealth is weaker then that of other stealth killers and needs to create pressure easier so here are my changes:
the pig's terror radius is now 24 meters as it gives you tool to be stealthy and get into ur first chase and get a grab or hit a bit easier on unaware survivors. plus it won't be as oppressive as it was on slinger who can shoot you before you can hear his terror radius.
make combat straps and john's medical file base kit so you can transition between crouching and uncrouching easier to get into a chase and not watch the survivor run and gain so much distance before you uncrouch or dash to them.
make her ambush feel like a threat, it can either instadown or break pallets and breakable walls. the dash already is a 50/50 on most weaker tiles, even if faked out with a slight roar you can leave the loop or stay and risk the hit if the pig knows how to play the tile.
in conclusion i feel her stealth is lacking and needs some improvements in order to help her gain hits and chase without making her too strong but more fun to play against. what buffs/nerfs you would give her to make her feel a bit stronger?

I've started to think the injury mechanic of Razor Wires and maybe Interlocking Razors should be basekit. SAW is about doing these puzzles that hurt you horribly yet you need an add-on for the Jigsaw Boxes to injure survivors. There is blood coming out of the box as they search them! But nothing actually happens to them without these add-ons. Make the injury parts basekit and play these add-ons up as making the skillchecks more difficult to succeed.
Or alternatively, rework the Jigsaw Boxes into a unique puzzle minigame like Skull Merchant's drones.
I also wish her ambush was buffed. I don't know why it needs the roar to telegraph it before it even begins. I almost never use it because just uncrouching and hitting the survivor with M1 is the superior option in most circumstances.

I like that concept as it stays true to saw and actually fits lore wise or even make it where taking a trap off leaves you incapacitated for 5-10 seconds (due to the pain of the trap). It also sucks as for counterplay you do a roar when it shouldn’t be a thing and leaves the survivor having more information than you

I don't think there is anything about the recent patch that impact Pig that much, she was a weaker killer before the patch and that is where she still is.
The problem with balancing her is that her traps are so heavily luck based. If the first person you trap ends up having to run around the entire map to get it off, you've got immense value out of it. If they get it off on the first try, it was basically useless. Sometimes with pig I dominate just because the early downs are out of the game for so long, sometimes I have no slowdown.
I'd drop her terror radius and maybe boost her dash, though things like an instadown would be going too far.

I'll post here the response that I posted in The Pig Pen (TPP) since I think it's relevant here.
"They increased crouching speed like what, ~4% with the buff? It's definitely not a huge change, and certainly not one that will have her Urban Evasioning across the map while crouched. They were really safe with the buff to this add-on, when instead they should just look towards reworking all her add-ons from the ground up as they did with GF, IMO.
Agreed with increasing crouching speed, though might as well make combat straps base kit then or change its function.
JMF is interesting to me because it used to have a very noticeable impact on charging ambush. I would argue it would have had more impact in games if they had changed it to be closer to its initial function I want to be careful tho because I feel like changing too much on her crouch/ambush to be too fast could have an effect on her stealth playstyle in favor of one where people just drop and use Ambush for distance. I run across a surprising amount of pig players that don't use the built-in stealth in her kit already."

I also want Amanda's Letter reworked to let her keep all 4 traps but they have significantly extended timers, like 30 seconds to a full 1 minute extra time to keep it balanced. It doesn't feel worth running the add-on when it weakens her necessary slowdown so much.

I agree with you as they were safe with the numbers but if she was to get a boost in speed nothing like crazy but similar to Ghostface would help her in chase and with stealth. Like JNF had a strong effect and if they kept that with the crouch speed buff it would let you almost gain enough speed to survivors and use the crouch more often for more fun aspects

Her traps are in a good spot, her stealth and ambush are weak, either
Revert her terror radius to 24 metres like it used to be or
Increase her crouched movement speed from 90 to 95-100 and make syringe basekit

I agree with you 100%

Making her TR 24 will not help that much given most of the time you're be approaching crouch. Instant down would be to much but i do like your idea to allow the dash to break pallets.

First of all they should fix her because somehow changing a single addon broke the entire killer

Buff her crouch, uncrouch, stealth, chase. Nerf the total searches to 10 total instead of 12.
I can't fathom why people are okay with her 1.3s crouch uncrouch, 0.75s charge time. Why not buff those so she's actually a threat in loops, then nerf her slowdown to compensate? Would make her more fun to play as and against.

Pig is just HORRIBLE, painful, and clumsy to play. I don’t know how anyone has the patience to play her.
She needs to be more fluid in her actions and less punishing.

Pig mains are a dedicated bunch for sure. The game has passed Amanda by. Hitting on these areas mentioned like crouch, uncrouch, ambush, and crouched traveling speed would help her stay relevant as the game changes.

I'm pretty sure we're all in agreement she needs her add-ons changed as well, but is making any add-ons base kit the immediate or ideal solution to jump to? ...Something to consort with the Council. 🐽. I mean uhh... nerf pig 😰😅.

Her ambust should Expose Survivors when hit, considering her loud noise makes stealth attack very hard.

I would love a add on pass or even these little changes to her kit to help make her be more fluid to play. I mean nerf pig lol 🐽👈

It doesn’t help her crouch and crouch speed add ons are bugged to make her clunky and her ambush either speeds up or slowed this patch

yea, her pig squeals are as loud as curve Billy's chainsaw comin' right at you from around the corner. You KNOW the smoke is comin' at ya. 🤠⚒️. They want a 🚭️ policy.
I see they moved this to feedback. Might be a good time to recommend following up in a related off-topic.

I don't think Pig is in an awful place. I still play her mainly as a stealth killer and she performs fairly well. But she could always do with some buffs.
For example, her (and Ghostface's) 'faster movement speed while crouched' add-ons should be basekit. It makes no sense that a stealth killer is required to be out-of-stealth-mode until they reach a survivor. That just warns the survivor that the killer is nearby and has just entered stealth mode.
While you're at it, speed up her crouch transition movement to match Ghostie's.

Even the ghostface add on would help her gain a boost in chase but also help her get the first hit and not punish her for using her stealth. Even her crouch and uncrouch being buffed can help her get from place a to b
