So I've played Dead by Daylight for maybe 300 hours as of now. I play both Killer and Survivor and at first, I truly enjoyed playing the game but as of late the game has become completely unplayable, I've encountered about five cheaters within the last three days. The point I'm trying to get to is why does the game suffers from these issues when I'm sure Behavior has the time and resources to easily fix these issues. I mean it cost a total of twenty dollars to even play the game and more than two hundred dollars to buy all the chapters the game has. So why are there so many issues with the game? Do you mean to tell me people pay more than two hundred dollars to play a game that is infested with issues, that just doesn't sit right with me how is possible for someone that's cheating to literally crash my game? Fix your damn game instead of wasting money on making skins for a game that'll be dead if you don't fix its issues.

It’s not as easy as “fix the cheating”.

Devs can implement all sorts of barriers to cheat / hack software, and the cheat developers will find a way around it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these cheat devs have more money and resources from selling software than the gaming companies do.

There is only one right way to play the game, play for the fun, its all about chasing and being chased, and no matter what the game will be fun then.

If you dont enjoy chasing survivors, or looping killers then this isnt the game for you.

if you want to avoid cheaters, you can disable cross-play since the vast majority of cheaters are playing over console. However, if you try to find a game this way, it can take very long to get started.

Calling EAC a cheat protection is like calling a ball a vehicle.

There is no real protection in this game. BHVR told a few months ago they will implement improved cheat protection early 2023 but it is silent about that topic again and that will not change.

Do not forget an important fact: MONEY

That's all that matters, and better cheat protection doesn't increase profits. But skins do.

    My 2 cents.
