From someone who plays more survivor at the moment, and mains Legion and Hag :
Neither.
I don't mind medkits and CoH being a bit weaker, it is good for killers who rely more on hit and run. Playing survivor, I have barely noticed the medkit change, and CoH is still rather cool without being OP, especially since now it scales back in efficiency the fewer survivors are left, and becomes a bit more risky as the healer will have to leave their post and probably make a trail of scratch marks towards the boon.

That's fair, but I think I felt more of the medkit change because now all my medkits are the same as a brown medkit, so that really hurts tbh
This was more of a "pick your poison" though and decide which was better, even if you dislike both
I'm fine with COH having its self heal removed, especially now since it's even better for altruistic healing builds

I do agree that it's a bit ridiculous paying a purple medkit and it having very little difference to the brown one.
That's 100% a valid concern !
In the mindset of pick your poison, I'd say revert medkits :)

I'd bring back self heal for COh but make it much less reliable when using it on yourself.
I'd differentiate medkits from one another so that they're not just better versions of each other, but also have different effects to utilize.

They're not all just carbon copies of the worn out tools with different names, imagine Alex's toolbox not even having a sabo niche anymore and literally the same as a brown toolbox but with a different name

Same, I think the main thing was that COH was infinite heals at 75% speed, whereas medkits were much quicker, but limited
I think they could've adjusted speed of them while also keeping the rarities different
IMO I think they were fine but they could've made the ranger medkit heal a bit slower since it had more charges, and emergency med kit in general be fast, but of course not as fast as it was before
Just small adjustments, now they're just all the same and the joy of finding a green, yellow, or purple medkit is gone because they're literally the brown medkit with different colors, it's sad really
Plus, it's another pharmacy nerf as well lmao

tbh, I would say neither.
but I’d atleast prefer medkits because COH has been the reason of so many losses for me cuz I can’t snowball/pressure because they’ll get healed back up in under 30 seconds. Atleast medkits would eventually run out and not keep the game hostage without the killer needing to essentially throw.

Ooh, they both suck...
Old medkits were extremely obnoxious, and syringes were 10× as more annoying.
But actually, I'd say revert CoH. I hate this new one more than the original version. It honestly feels like inverted Eruption. 4 SWF heals in 20 seconds, solo q places boon and does nothing with it.

Personally I never really hated medkirs since I knew they were limited, but can understand the nerf. However I do not like what they nerfed it to.. Whats the point of a purple medkit or green medkit now when I can just take a brown and it'll do the same things?

I mean with all the healing nerfs making it so my own medkit decreases if I use it on myself is dumb. I don't even use them anymore and avoid them in the bloodweb because they're useless.

Why do the rarities even exist now if they are all the same? It makes no sense
Pharmacy nerf and deletes the feeling of getting lucky and finding a yellow medkit or above, u will now feel the same if you had gotten a brown medkit
They could've just nerfed the green medkit healing speeds and make the purple medkit have a SMALL 10% speed penalty in compensation for the amount of the charges, and much larger buff for altruistic healing as well as an efficiency bonus (like 75% healing speed and 25% efficiency bonus)
But I guess they didn't think of that or thought it was too OP somehow, imagine if toolboxes were all exactly the same as a brown one, that's how it is now with medkits

Shadow step could give more stealth like suppressing footstep noises and blood pools, exponential could have you instantly be healthy after recovering from the dying state (cuz exponential growth wowza idk), and dark theory could give more haste and maybe wallhacks too
