2 killers vs 6 or 8 survivors?

Options

Would it be possible if they add a new mode to where there can be 2 killers and 6 survivors or 8?

It’s been requested a lot and I guess it should be possible - though maybe the maps are not really suitable for this kind of chaos. Also their could be technical problems (eg Nemesis was only able to get 2 zombie ais, the game couldn’t handle more - so maybe more players is also problematic and having two Nemesis‘ would also be problematic if each got their own 2 zombies)

there could also be licensing problems, depending on what the negotiations included etc. And then Stranger Things might be a real barrier?

Plus it would split the player base and make queues take longer.

Seems like there exist few posts about this mode already. I love the idea. Would bring some friends of mine to try the game one more time. Because they didn't like survivors much

I never understood the appeal of a 2v8 mode, at least for a public queue. You double the number of players, and assuming gens so the game is longer technically, and you have two killers coming for you? On paper it doesn't sound great having a Blight and a Nurse combo or a Knight and Artist teaming up. I'd say it makes a decent ruleset for a custom match with friends if you want to mess around.
