May I make a suggestion to all my dear survivors?
CAN YOU PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF THE ENTITY LEAVE THE GAME ONCE YOU'VE OPENED THE GOSH DARN GATES
I get it, you won, congrats, but why do you feel the need to always wait like a minute or two near the exit before going.
Nobody's hooked. Nobody's hurt and needs healing. There's literally no point. Just go, please, I broke every pallet. What is wrong with you.
Thank you very much,
Much love,
WB.
Edit: I forgot to add Thank you and I am a polite bean.

I need you to watch me leave.

I'm not even close to the gates tho. I mean if I was nearby maybe but that's not even the case. Just hold the hand of your friends if you're afraid of leaving alone m'kay?

It depends on the situation. If I'm not sure where the others are I'll hang around a bit. If the killer is nearby I like to give them hits on the way out. It's not alot but extra bp is always nice. If the killer had a rough game and I have an item I like to give it to them. My way of say sorry they had a bad game.
All that said I hate the survivors who tbag at the gates. Well unless we're having a bag off with Ghostface.

If there is survivor who is not at exit gates with me, then I wait. I think it would be helpful to have some kind of indication whether survivor is standing behind exit gates or not. Checkmark at Survivors icon?

Honestly, I always assume any survivor that needs to be escorted out must have a super depressing life in real life.

I mean, I get it, I really do and it is up to my personal preferences, but I must say I really don't want any pity bloodpoints, or items on the ground (I mean it's not like I could do anything about them anyway).
I know that if I'm playing surv' and the killer had a terrible game, I just offer myself as a sacrifice. I think it's more, I don't know, meaningful?
And it might be me but most of the time they don't even let me hit them. They wait, and wait, and the second I pass the gate they're gone.
It shouldn't anger me so but it does and I hate it.

Just killem all before the last gen is done. Problem solved. Your welcome.
Seriously, I dont think your thread will stop butt dancing at the exit gates. Take a small break or force'em to leave.

I mean, of course it won't. People will play however they want and there isn't a thing I can do about it. I just needed to vent it out a bit.
Edit: I will also attempt this whole murder thing it sounds fun.

Ugh. Those are the worst.
When people say "survivors who stay at the gate" I feel like there's often a mix up between survivors intending to BM and survivors intending to be available to help their team one last time if needed. I personally always stay at the gate until I know what's left of my teammates are okay and don't need me anymore.
But the people who all stay at the gate just for taunting, when all are alive and ready to leave any moment, those I really can't stand. I'll leave as soon as I know anyone who's not an idiot can escape.

The devs should add pallets in the gate so you can pallet stun the killer

I think I speak for most killers when I say I would rather just get to the next game than be offered last hit BPs on the survivors way out.
1 -
I understand alot feel that way. I'm just saying alot of survivors aren't staying to BM.
3 -
I dont understand, thats what i am doing. If everyone is safe and not hooked, i open the gate and leave. What exactly do you want from me?

Maybe, just maaaaybe, this post isn't directed at you? /S
Just like posts aimed at camper/tunneler/aso don't mean anything to me for example.

Well, nothing since you do it already. Clearly this message isn't addressed to you.
Thing is, I'm not a psychic (yet), I can't tell if it's out of niceness, or toxicity. Which is why I'd rather they left altogether.

But it is aimed at all survivors. How am i not a part of all survivors? Oh, maybe i am just not part of all dear survivors, but that means they only hold dear the ones that act in a way they dont like. Strange.

It's just banter they said.

If I can't confirm that other survivors are safe and will make it out I tend to hang round unless im pushed out, so I can assist if someone gets caught
2 -
^^
If i see 3 other survivors at the gate with me I leave otherwise I'll stay
1 -
Sorry but I find it too funny 😭
3 -
Don't worry, I'd still eat an apple from a rotten bag, and you're still a dear survivor.
But I am indeed quite strange nethertheless.
Well I don't know if they have really poor sense of direction but they always disappear when the timer is at least half gone specifically. I don't think it's a coincidence. Or it could be.

I see more survivors hanging around the gates just in case they’re needed one last time than to teabag the killer.

It's like walking into a pop concert!

I usually just leave as soon as I'm sure my teammates are okay.
Honestly, even getting to Endgame as Survivor feels like a W nowadays

I think it's a cycle of 'killer wasting my time slugging me for the 4K when you could just hook me so I can go next so I'll waste your time at the gate when you could be going next.'

In case you didn't break all doors / pallets you have the chance so you can get some more BP. Some killers get points for using their abilities (e.g. SM deploying her drones) so you can just spam these till the corresponding category is maxed out.
The only thing I hate when people start vaulting an existing pallet which gives an explosion-like sound effect. They clearly want your attention. I take my headset off and continue to do the smashing.

All hail to our lord and saviour Lightborn 😎

I get this can be annoying but you can just push them out and save yourself two minutes…

This happens to me often and it’s just survivors waiting for you to show up so they can t-bag you. Remember that a large percentage of the people who play this game are teenagers who think that taunting in a video game is super hilarious and the epitome of life achievement. They’re not going to listen to your plea - they’re just going to keep doing it. It’s stupid teenagers being stupid teenagers (or adults acting like stupid teenagers).

Nah, the best part of winning is being able to show your opponent that you won, thats actually something some survs have told me after matches, and to an extend I agree.

If you call that a life ...
As for OP, when it happens there are a few things to do : break doors, break pallets and never ever go even close enough to the gates to see or be seen.

I think it's toxic behavior at the exit gates that makes Killers want to be toxic to the next group of Survivors they meet. Because if they're getting taunted at the exit gates, it's already too late for the Killer to retaliate against that particular group of Survivors.
