I think Dead by daylight should add vc

I think they should add vc to help with solo q players to communicate

it doesn't force you into voice chat you can just opt-in if you like and if your team is being toxic you can leave vc or mute the teammates who are acting toxic

if people are acting really badly in vc they should have the report system setup for it

people can also record what's happening and bring it to the team's attention like what people usually have to do to have reports actually work

if people keep misusing the vc system they should have a strike system where the person has 3 chances

if you keep misusing the vc you can either be permaban from vc forever or permaban for the entire chapter/season of the game

    you are basically right, but personally i would prefer an action wheel as a communication option with different actions and voice action added as bonus.

    Sure.

    But from a meta perspective I think DBD could carve its own path with requiring Survivors to take effort in communicating via third party tools for distinct dialogue.

    Sadly, reporting is already way too tedious and i fear moderation on this wouldn’t work fine at all (also might be easy to create fake voice overs?)

    though, if they add VC I think it should be completely optional and not used for balance decisions, so am not entirely against the idea like this

    I know many would like VC, but I would personally despise it. Far too many toxic people around to be dealing with that, and the game wasn't designed around it; there's a reason your survivors are silent. On top of that, shutting it off might make people report you for 'not cooperating,' and on certain platforms this can remove their ability to play the game, regardless of the developers intent. Give us a wheel of gestures, or little pictographs above our heads that mean different things.

    I absolutely would love to have vc in the game .DBD is the only game that I can't play with my friends, because none of them will play DBD simply because there is no use of mics. Every game my friends and I play have in game mics and it makes the experience so much more fun. There should be an option to mute or turn off mics if players don't want it .But for alot of us who do it would make the game so much better. Friday the 13th gets played more than DBD for the very reason that DBD doesn't have in game mic use. I really don't know why DBD hasn't added vc feature by now ,so many more players would join our DBD community and the game would definitely be more fun and entertaining with a much better vibe .Also it would allow us to actually speak to each other and make new friends to play with, instead of continuous random people each match .We need the VC feature as an option , it shouldn't even be an issue .
