Some news for ST fans
In the latest Slasher Radio podcast, Mathieu Cote mentioned that they indeed tried contacting Netflix but got no response which may mean that Netflix isn't eager to renew ST licensing. I don't understand how it may be profitable for Netflix but...we have what we have.

I mean, you were never "left in the dark". There were 0 signs that Stranger Things would return to DBD, just people hoping it would. But from BHVR there was never a word about it und unless they say something, it should be assumed that ST will not come back.

Sorry, I meant we were "left in the dark" about why it was removed. I mean it was pretty obvious it was because of Netflix, but now we have confirmation that it was Netflix's fault. They never really explained anything or talked about it since, so I'm just glad that he acknowledged it and actually gave an answer.
But yes, no signs of it ever returning unfortunately :(

At least the team have been trying and no doubt will try again when conditions are more fortuitous. My question is that if it is Netflix which are the issue, how come those 3 skins from that horror series (cannot remember the name, but Doctor, Hag and Hubtress each got a legendary) remain, because aren't they Netflix also? Or have I missed something?

You can still get ST DLC on some platforms. (Nightmare Edition Disks, Steam Keys are expensive at the moment)

Glad I bought all of the cosmetics before it left. It's just a shame we'll never get entirely new survivors. There was so much potential there.

Disappointing but I suppose it's closure - I miss seeing Demogorgon in games. I know people own them but I wish Demogorgon was accessible to everyone who was willing to pay for it.

This entire interview's existence feels ironic to me that they would even do it with someone from bhvr, considering that the guy running the podcast has shown on twitter that he hates dbd and calls bhvr for culture vultures with how they do their licensed dlcs.

It sucks for me because I have all the cosmetics, as well as Jonathan, on my Switch which I recently stopped playing. I only have Steve, Nancy, and Demo in their original cosmetics on my PS5. I doubt we'll ever be able to share the license stuff across platforms.
