Would Killer Basic Attacks destroying Standing/Dropped Pallets be more interesting?
Survivors get to create Pallets in the upcoming event.
Cool core gameplay change.
Killer gameplay stays the same.
Depending on how rapidly Survivors are able to setup new Pallets, it’d be nice if Killer Basic Attacks were amped up to be able to cut down the swaths of forests the Survivors will be growing.
Nevermind, turns out I completely overlooked the details of the anniversary event. Thought Survivors were just able to poop out Pallets.

Alternatively, what if the ability to build pallets comes at the cost of naturally spawned pallets?

Move trash pallets to god pallet spots, at least in optimal play. Not sure how I feel about that.

At the expense of gen-time though, and at the expense of said pallets.

Totally agree. Pallet break speed would need to increase.
Imagine what playing meat plant with it's 300 pallets and 30 god pallets would be like with even more pallets being generated?
Bonkers idea that hinders killers with no anti-loop.

Totally agree. Depends on the time-investment of survivors, and if they get to choose where pallets spawn, or if they have to work off of the map saying “this pallet spot can now be created!”
At the moment though, given it seems Survivors have full control over when pallets spawn, and where, it’s just going to be a god-pallet loop munchfest that is going to suck ass for any Killer without anti-loop.
A free “exposed” means jack-all if Survivors simply pre-drop everything.
At the very least give the Killer a means to cut down defenses while chasing/patrolling.

better than having trash pallets stay while you get extra pallets.

Killers will be able to expose survivors after reaching bloodlust, reduce their stun time, and remotely break pallets and probably walls and maybe gens

Huh. Did they release a new update on what the details are? Out of the loop atm.

The emergency pallets in the event break immediately, killers don't have to break them at all. 1:26:40 mark.

'preciate it. I watched the stream, I don't know how I missed that snippet detailing the mechanics of the event.

Problem with a stream, you hear something and your brain instantly starts thinking of scenarios you may run into live so you miss bits. Then if you want to go back and rewatch what they said you need to try and find like 20 seconds of a hour and a half stream. Atleast with Dev blog it's way easier to reread things they said. I've gone between both goodboykaru's recap post and the transcript of the stream several times to clarify/confirm things.
