About new Anti-camp mechanic....
My full support for devs!
Godspeed and finger-crossed you won't back up because of handful whining bad players, but keep thinking of many silent ones who don't write on forum (I literally know in real life 4 people who stopped playing because of constant camping, tunneling and griefing. Yes, they are casual players.)
And that besides many who do already. Game has to be fun, that it's main purpose. It can be hard, it can be challenging, it can be unforgiving, but it has to be fun. If someone use some exploit to ruin fun for everyone, that's harmful for the game (can't see much difference with cheats, except cheat work always, but camping work only on weak or medium teams).
3 matches from today out of 5 (other two was Blight with 1 immediate DC and Iri Huntress), and that's on lowest MMR (obvously, it doesn't work on high MMR)

I really really hope you keep your senses straight and keep making DbD more healthy and fun game, not listening to a bunch of salty kids that fiercely protect their ability to use game flaws for effortless wins and self-reassurance.
Sincere hope that you will enhance anti-camping and think about severe tunneling too.
Players are with you. Fortune favors the brave!
P.S. campers are welcome to complain about fading "valid mechanic" and "fair strategy".

I've been too busy with work and haven't seen the stream yet. How does it work through floors on maps like Midwich?

We will see in two days on PTB. But my point is: at least it's the start, devs finally started to take it seriously, FINALLY(because it's the most unnoying and broken thing in game mechanic). I'm sure it will be clunky and require tuning, but at least it's the start. Important thing that they began working in that direction.
The longest road is with the first step.

Definitely sounds like a skill issue. Who goes down when you can loop for 5 gens get adrenaline and leave?

Can't argue with that solid point, you got me there.
