This game is like night and day on a Xbox series s vs a Xbox one
the performance is awesome it’s actually weird not playing the game with bad frames

I mean, playing on a gtx 950 will do that to you.

At this point it's pretty much stable 60fps on XSX (with killer it feels a bit lower), way better than on Switch and the older gen consoles. Someone really should do a recent framerate test with DbD on the newest consoles, couldn't find anything on YT.
But when i switch from SoT with 120fps to DbD i can see a huge difference.
On PC you can play DBD with 120fps, why not on XSX and PS5?

For sure. The difference is so far apart it's not even cool.

While I didn't buy a Series X for DBD, it was a huge boost to the game.
I was seriously considering not playing anymore because of how bad some games were on my One. I don't see how anyone can tolerate playing on the last gen hardware.

Yeah I finally got a PS5 about four months ago and the difference in performance is incredible. Plus all new trophies to unlock again

I think the current gen consoles are locked at 60 frames for DBD

It's not a problem with the hardware of the prior gen consoles, it's the bottlenecking due to the poor optimization & their coding of this game. Other much more demanding games still run well on them, just not DBD.

I meant playing DBD on last gen hardware, not last gen hardware in general. The PS4/One are still plenty good, just DBD runs like trash on them.
Which feels really unacceptable considering what games those consoles can handle fine. I've said before that if BHVR can't or won't figure out how to fix it, they really just need to stop selling it on those consoles as it's basically a broken product now (though granted, I got my X a year ago so maybe it's better now but this threads existence makes me believe it is not).
