title.

Personally, whispers. Its actually really good if you've got the gamesense! I'd appreciate a buff that shows how many are in your TR though, so I dont have to guess when someones hooked/downed etc.

The Nancy perk that gives you +30% walking speed is a phenomenal stealth perk and is, IMO, one of the most underrated perks in the game.

Aftercare is the single best survivor perk in my opinion, and is very rarely played. It never leaves my builds.

For underrated, Empathy, Botany Knowledge (which are both Claudette's) and for killer's: Enduring, Monitor & Abuse.

    Overrated? Bamboozle and Lithe.

Inner Strength. Not many people use it, option for Med-kits, but its so helpful, especially when your teammates keep throwing themselves at the killer.

Underrated: Wiretap. Great, especially on levels where you hear the TR but the chase is happening downstairs or upstairs. You see the aura of the approaching killer - everybody else flees because of the TR but you can keep on working on the gens. I love it!

Overrated: Adrenaline and pretty much everything else that activates when the last gen is repaired. On the killer side I find them annoying but only when a team is already strong enough.

Underrated: Inner Strength i find super useful, now that boons are rarely played. Gearhead is amazing on Artist / Huntress and i'm sad that not many of them use this.

Overrated: Windows of Opportunity, i think a lot of people rely on it too much. BBQ for the same reason.

Underrated: Bitter Murmur. Since gens go flying right away now, Bitter Murmur can get you decent map info on where the survivors are. On the survivor side, Distortion. It's a very good stealth perk if killers bring Aura related perks, which 98% of the time they do.

    Overrated: Sloppy Butcher and Adrenaline.

Distortion is very underrated on the survivor side. Being able to hide even if Nowhere to Hide is great as the Killer will be very unlikely to come back. If you're not a selfish player you'll probably need to draw aggro from the Killer to keep hook states spread out but that's on your terms; not the Killer's.

Surveillance is also underrated. Knowing which gens are being worked on is great for applying map pressure. It was outclassed by CoB before but now that CoB was nuked from orbit it's back to a good state.

For killer it has to be Forced Penance.

Underrated in my humble opinion: Mettle of Man, Resurgence for survivors. For killers, I'm surprised I don't see more No Way Out love!

Underrated probably Repressed Alliance with Wiretap. Watses a lot of time for the killer and you get aura reading since they cannot kick it. Used to run it a lot more often during the gen kick meta.

    Underrated: Deliverance

The perk is kinda crazy how strong it is and I rarely see survivors use it. The only thing keeping this perk in check is the fact you can't get it every game. Every proc is very impactful and it doesn't seem that rare to get the perk to activate. I've gotten players out of basement by trading and then using Deli to get myself out, which is super strong. Killers hook and leave and you can unhook yourself which basically removes the tempo they just gained, and pairs insanely well with OTR.

    Overrated: Prove Thyself

If you double a gen at 50% this perk barely does anything. If you don't hit the breakpoints the value of the perk is meh(just finishing a gen the killer is about to stop you from doing). Multiple players running this perk makes it have terrible value since the situations you want to co-op gens is low and the perk doesn't stack. I've seen killers act like this perk is the boogieman and 4 survivors running the perk are really sweaty.

You are so right about deliverance! My build rn is SB, OTR, Reassurance, and deliverance. I basically just cant be tunneled bc I just unhook myself and run away with SB, and even if they catch up I get OTR. That combo is very powerful separately while off hook while being insane together, making for whats basically adrenaline off hook. THAT YOU GET TO TRIGGER.

Deliverance is so crazy, but for some reason survs like using boil over more 🤔

Yea I'm running basically the same thing and it is crazy how much value you can get from the build. If you get chased with Deli up you can use it when the killer is leaving and you put them in such a odd position. If they tunnel you then they have zero pressure on gens but if they don't then they wasted all that time for nothing. It's such a large tempo shift for a perk that doesn't require anything insane to get.

For survivor, my three underrated perks would be: Blood Pact, Diversion, We'll Make It

For killer, my three underrated perks would be: Spies From The Shadows, Dark Devotion, Forced Penance

    Probably Dissolution for underrated.

    Whispers for overrated.

    Spies from the Shadows.

I don't have room for it in every build, but whenever I run it its crazy how much the little birbs rat survivors out. I can't count how often I got a feeling "there should be a survivor here" and when I want to leave, a birb to the side of me goes off and I know exactly where the survivor is hiding. It also helps a lot with endgame scenarios and hunting down the last, lonely survivor. Most survivors don't care enough about birbs to not agitate them and I actually don't know if I ever encountered a calm spirit in its natural habitat.
