Will survivors ever have the ability to trade a hook state for a health state?
I am just wondering if survivors will ever be given the option to trade a hook state for a health state if being slugged? For example if the survivor is slugged then after a set amount of time they can gain a hook state and then get themselves off the ground... If on Death hook they could sacrifice themselves to the entity?

That could be an interesting perk tbh, I doubt that it would be introduced as a basekit mechanic.

Let's be real, the fact people can throw the game and ruin everyone else for free is already wrong, we don't need yet another free DC for survivors.

That is an interesting take that someone being slugged for an extended period of time then leaving the game ruins it for others. Your complaint seems more about players wanting out of a game and onto the next one than game mechanics. What I suggested is that the person being slugged "after a set amount of time" would then have an option to trade a health state to get themselves up. I would think this mechanic would keep a slugged survivor that has no options from DCing, as now they have some hope of getting themselves off the ground. A example of use would be: two survivors left in the match Killer slugs for the 4K and does not know where the hiding survivor is at. The survivor on the ground can now recover, then can wait (lets say 120 seconds) and is then prompted with an option to trade a hook state for a health state. Would then give the slugged guy a chance instead of either waiting for the killer to bleed them out or hoping the last guy decides to pick them up. A second scenario: Killer slugs all four survivors and refuses to hook anyone. I dont see how giving the survivors something to do in this scenario causes them to DC?
