Didn't they say barbecue would disappear?

Well solo que potatoes need a wake up call and should just run distortion. It is specially annoying that the ones who get found by lethal and gets down early then baby rage quit/dc. I also love to sit on my 95% comfy and not have to worry about some high mobility killer forcing me off it.
Even before people start using distortion tunneling been a thing forever so those who say amma tunnel your team mates then since I cant ever find you is a poor excuse(not saying you specifically).

If anyone starts running distortion, all the things killers can do at that point is literally just camp and tunnel, because which is only consistent way to find the survivors.
So call it excuse or not, it tells they are never tried to save their teammates and certainly not altruistic at all, not sure if they are selfish or not though.

Yes understood and that is why I say its up to survivors to use the distortion perk or risk being tunnel, its not really all the time about being selfish, dont get me wrong if I see tunneling I do my very best to try get the killer attention but some will down you or ignore you and leave you slug and still go for the death hooked person.
Like this huntress I had yesterday so wanted this mikhaela dead I and another survivor went down for her on purpose hoping she instead hook us but nope she leaves us slugged just to get her down again thank god I had expo so we got up. Some killers will tunnel straight up whether or not distortion is being used.
Distortion is literally a better otr/ds, example you just got unhooked?, your trying to heal or find someone to heal but another teammate is now hook and killer see you the injure one and comes to you to down you again. Most likely yeah they will tunnel you but if you run distortion and your team mates then there is no way the killer can do anything at that point and yall can reset saftely.
I am not even fully gonna throw the blame on killers all the time for tunneling, solo ques are ignorant and allergic to distortion it seem. But tunneling will always be a thing distortion or not and its just lol when a killer defend tunneling for A: Survivors doing their objective which that one I will argue is 0 excuse on tunneling and B= With choice B I can agree on killer side here that ofc if I see no other survivor using distortion and I see an already injure hooked one already , ofc they may not even bother going for another person whether they injure or not. Solo potatoes need to stop using rubbish perks like urban/sprint burst /self aware/resilience and run the distortion perk already.

Distortion, lucky break, old iron will and shadow step are probably the worst designed perks in the game. Anything that inhibits chase with no skill involved is just bad for the gameplay loop.

Oh yeah things like expose perks =survivor stuns with pallet=hubris= make your choice=for rescuing a team mate, fear monger=stopping exhaust perk and survivor aura perk, aura reading perks in general=finding survivor for free like the popular nowhere to hide(just by kicking a gen, noed/devour and broken add ons that give free instant down/aura reading on many killers has skills involved? Are you really that bad at chasing that anything that give some type of stealth to survivors you think is no skill? I guess you just want to get hooks for free lol.

So survivors aren't supposed too loop the killer. They aren't supposed to hold w. Now they aren't allowed to hide. What exactly are they allowed to do?

survs playing around BBQ have always been complained about and got blamed for making the killer tunnel/camp, that wouldn’t be a new thing..

Plenty of killers don't run aura perks and manage just fine. If you struggle to find survivors without an aura perk, would that be considered a crutch perk?

BBQ used to be a good perk that encouraged Killers to not camp - the best benefit was achieved by spreading out the hooks to all survivors.
So they took that away, the Devs actively decided to make BBQ less of an anti-camping perk.
Gotta wonder why?

We are to walk to the hook at the start of the match and point at it, gotta read the killer rule books for survivors my friend =)

Prior to the bloodpoint nerf I used BBQ 100% of the time on every killer. Now I use it sometimes on killers or builds where it makes sense to use it. My use rate fell from 100% to maybe 5-10%.

Excessive hiding is considered holding the game hostage and literally against the rules, so "plenty of killers don't run aura perks and manage just fine" is plain lie.
Killers don't have practical tools to find them, unless they have some power to achieve it.
It's just that most of survivors don't have capability to properly hide, especially on low-level regions.
