Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Developer AMA Section

I have compiled a lot of images of questions and responses from BHVR during the Developer AMA. Also a bit of some stuff towards the end that I would like to talk about.

Im not sure how long the Developer AMA was open for but the ability to comment on the post is closed, so no more questions can be asked. At the very least, this post can and will act as archive for the information BHVR provided us.

This will be really long since there is a lot of stuff to go through... if you wish to see my own thoughts on this, you can skip to the end...

My Thoughts On This...

First off, I would like to simply say... "I told you so"... yes, I know this is a petty, but back when the Anniversary Stream, people were upset that there wasnt really any information there, but we were told that developers would be more transparent.

I said that a lot of the information will probably be revealed at a later date, and a lot of people doubted me, and I got a lot of negative reception on the post, so much so that some people went out of their way to harass me on social media, though I do not know who exactly it was that did it since their names on the Forums could be completely different, but I digress.

I knew something would be in the works, since we are suppose to have developer streams, but the developer AMA also acts as a good source of information for future content. My main point (from that original post) was that it is clear BHVR is holding back information since if they are going to be more transparent, it would naturally make sense to hold back information to reveal at a later date.

Either way, I hope the community tries to be a bit more positive. I think BHVR cares about what they make, they just have so many voices coming from so many different angles, while also having their own vision for the game, it can be difficult to make the "right" decisions. Furthermore, things just take time, and BHVR cannot always make the proper changes instantly.

Just finished reading the thread. The black bubble thing isn't an old feature though - I really only noticed it about a year ago, when I was still using Kindred frequently. But otherwise some nice info!

It honestly could just a mix-up where certain parts of BHVR think it's intentionally designed to block auras while other parts of BHVR think it isnt suppose to block auras.

Keep in mind, BHVR is split into multiple parts, that all work on different things, and miscommunication and mix-ups happen sometimes.

I wanted to know the odds of legendary characters getting more outfits, like Claire. I had a surgery today and didn't get to ask :(

I love the fact that they did this though, and I also was mentioning on here how the developers would be more transparent. Just had to give it time. They seem very friendly, loved the AMA. Thank you behavior :)

I hate how reddit works for these things because comments can get easily lost for me. However in this version of AMA, devs have more time and can formulate all answers much better than they could on streams and also they can do more of them.

Really like it and also very happy about many answers they gave. Good job, pin this pls

Just throwing this out there in case you (or anyone else) didn't know: If you sort an AMA thread by Q&A, it will show all of the questions that have been answered by us first. 👀

It makes it way easier to find all the responses.
