Another New Killer Ability Guess
Killer will have posts to hang censers, either the same lanturn posts from the previous events or ability to hang them like the teaser photo.
They'll be able to cloud themselves in smoke and teleport from censer to censer for map control or gain visibility when they are within range.
Just throwing out a guess.

Perhaps debuffs are added with censers posted, that can be taken down by survivors with a medium totem lengthed action.
Add-ons intensify or modify the debuffs applied.
It would almost be giving the killer an ability close to setting and resetting their own less powerful totems throughout the match.
Could be cool. I like the idea of a power that adds debuffs, forcing the survivors to deal with the penalty or waste time removing it.
Could also be buffs for the killer rather than debuffs for survivors... Or both/either.

That would be cool. But Im done guessing since Legion. We thought they would be a split personality killer, a doppelganger, 4 killers at the same time.... but they ended up being a bunch of hyperactive kids ;-)

I WANT to like legion and really like that the put a true/real slasher in the mix, but struggle to accept the whole 4 killers sell when it's just picking one for a match.
Would love a tweak to them somehow to make them feel somehow closer to par of the others and play off of the multiple killer story... but I don't have any answers on how to make it work. Really loved the idea of 1 slasher with multiple personallities and was disappointed when my hyped up thought of it didn't end up being what we got.
Still, I'll play Legion every once in a while and have a great game every so often, but not great with the dash (Too fast for me. Lose them in the chase to often).
Hoping the new killers power is creative and fun to play with.

I have a feeling that the next chapter may bring another objective for survivors. The same way the hag brought the totems.

Maybe the hanging censors are a secondary objective as mentioned above. Maybe the killer starts of really powerful, but disabling the censors it lowers the killers power.
I think the censor the killer has, is their weapon. It is attached to a long chain, so thinking a whip style of attack that pulls the survivor to the killer. So the killer is gonna be slow like the nurse.
Then all the fog.. so I think the stronger the fog on the map, will help the killer move around, either by teleporting or just increases their walking speed in general.

Could be cool. I like the idea of making the fog Extremely thick, but not impedeing the killers vision so much.

Maybe they all got snatched at the same time, but to different pockets. Quadruple the fear at once for the entity if they're all hunting at the same time in different areas.
So you may be susie, but someone else is joe. Both doing work.

I'm gonna guess that maybe the killer can use the lantern to blur Survivors' view and certain objects and maybe he/she will be able to turn into smoke and travel the map?

This is funny, most of the guesses in this post are actually the same ideas I came up with for a new Killer I created several months ago. My idea was a Killer in a hazmat suit that had toxic barrels around the map that could placed by the Killer and the gas from the barrels would give debuffs to the Survivors and slow down Gen progress. Great fun for the entity, not so much for the player. I prefer the killers that don't take your imagination to appreciate.

I like someone's guess that the smoke would trail behind the killer and force survivors out of loops.

I like the hang the censers Park of it. But what if they are something like a reuseable hex. Like hex perks but when surviors take them away the killer can go put it back if he hooks the survivir that took it? Something like the event we just had. Would add a new set of perks to the game, and another objective. And the perks could be like a two sided thing. If they are hanging the killer gets a buff if the survivor has it they are buffed/nerfed but that survivor is made visible some how.

Perks that could work in given set up. And once survivor have the censer they can't get rid of it till hooked
Perk: like ruin but only affects the survivor that took the censer.
Perk: while the censer is hanging killer gets an X buff in action speed. While in the hands of the survivor survivor get X buff to their action speed
Perk: while hanging killer get a 10 speed buff. If survivor has it they get a 5 speed buff.
This would add alot of possiblities to the game

Ik the devs said something about wanting to ad an end game objective so if it would be to go grab something for extra blood points. Ik I would go back and try to go for it. personally i think my idea could work. I could be completely wrong in my idea. If you steal one of the censer perks at the end of the game you get X amount of blood points but it would be completely up to the killer if he/she wants to use a somewhat op perk that can be stolen durring the game or durring the end game survivors would risk it to get the points while the killer is guarding there perks. These perks could be like 10000 bp for the survivor that exits with the perk and the same for the killer if he/she keeps it till the end.
