''Made for This'' MUST GET NERFED+++
Hello,
I am a big fan of DBD and i really enjoy playing this game and so far the balance of perks has been relatively fair.
However, since the new Gabriel Soma perks have arrived and especially ''Made for This'' the game becomes totaly unbalanced and nightmarish for the killer and especially 4,4m/s killers. Survivors run at a very high speed while injured and looping is now 10 times more easy then before, making the killer lose drastic amount of time while in chase.
Moreover, nearly every team that i faced uses Made For This because it is just so strong for the survivor, and is litteraly even more effective then the old Dead Hard version. Looping becomes unmanagable, and the game is loosing balance. I am very disappointed with this and it basically makes me want to stop playing DBD because of the endless looping potential survivors have no matter how hard you try to mind game them they still have higher speed.
Therefore I urge the DBD team to reconsider this perk and to nerf it in order to make the game more balanced. I would really like to continue playing this game but at this rate it just won't do, there is no fun in endless chases with maximum loop potential, you just want to DC.

I played 10 games today, all of them had someone using Made for This, I could play normally btw, this perks is extremely situational and I prefer using other perks that are consistent

Yeah, you cannot use most of the Exhaustion Perks. Which is significant.

Put on Mindbreaker/Blood Echo. Problem solved.

Of course you can. Do people just say this to downplay the perk? It pairs excellently with every exhaustion perk but sprint burst.

I can clearly tell they are using it, but there is nothing I can do about it. I have missed so many lunges, just because for those stupid 3%.
The most sad part is top killers won't care at all.
Only thing it does is making bad killers worse. I really don't think that's a good thing.
RIP Legion, they are unplayable till this get nerfed.

I wouldn't use Lithe with it.
But Balance landing might work. Dead hard will be good too.
I will Iron Will with for sure.

Filling half the perk slots available to you with mediocre perks just to counter one busted one is a very very bad ask. No killer except legion and plague can use blood echo anyway.

I mean, you will always have 1 dead Perk if you use it with any Exhaustion-Perk except for DH. You probably use every Exhaustion Perk while you are still healthy and once you are injured, you wont get any benefit from Made for This.
And with DH it is questionable if you want to use 2 Perk Slots when Sprint Burst is just better and only takes 1 Perk Slot.

Why? You milk made for this for all it's worth, greed loops, then either toss a pallet and use the extra speed to get to a hill for balanced, or vault the nearest window with lithe, or wait for the killer to telegraph their swing and smash hit away. It doesn't replace exhaustion perks, it complements them. Sooner or later people will realize this.

Yeah, I agree it's quite situational, it feels nice but it's not as good as an exhaustion perk tbh. Also, of course many people are using a new perk, I'm not sure why people are surprised about it or why it would be bad to have one more perk in the quite exclusive "perks worth bringing" club.

With movement speed bonus is an issue that either killer don't care, or killer gets destroyed.
I am not going to care at all as Blight against this, but Legion or Wraith? Yeah, that's a no from me.

i mean I think made for this is strong but it’s not op because last I checked any perk/add on that can cause exhaustion or even instant downs if the survivor keeps healing can counter it also perks/add one like noed give you haste status too so perks that can make you faster can help

I haven't played killer since the chapter came out (queues are always too long when there's a new killer) so idk how it feels like to against it. I did play in the PTB and didn't mind it as killer but I'll wait a bit before forming an opinion from the killer PoV.
However I did use it as survivor and although it's a good perk and it feels nice to use I don't think it's worth bringing over an exhaustion perk. Maybe it'd be very good with DH but I'm not a DH user so I haven't tried it, otherwise I don't think it's going to be a super popular perk.
I don't think people are going to drop sprint burst, adrenaline (and even lithe) for it so I doubt it'll be very popular, unless people pick DH up again in which case I assume it'll be a popular combo ? Idk we'll see in a couple weeks I guess.

I am Jeff main and this is movement speed perk that works with Iron Will. Jeff needs Iron Will.

I swear killers want this game to be easy.. no challange.. pathetic.. its 3% ... killers have bloodlust that give them haste overtime with little to no requirement

The only change I strongly feel is appropriate is making the haste part of the perk inactive once all generators are completed
i'm already seeing clips of killers being ran around loops and gaining basically 0 distance because of this combo. We already have a really strong endgame haste perk, I don't see why we need two.

This is exact example of "uncounterable free distance at any loop" which was the reasoning of DH nerf, I'm quite interested how this perk made it to live without any tweaks at all.
they just want money, I guess.

I've used it many times since the PTB, and I thought it was too strong, but I didn't think it would be implemented as is. BhVR doesn't understand the significance of extending the loop by 1 lap and adding 10 seconds while the HUD tells allies that they are chasing. I've only played Survivor since it came out yesterday, and I won't be playing Killer even daily for the time being. I'm tired of playing games with Nurse.

You cant be serious comparing this Perk with original MoM. Let alone that this Chapter does not even need it since a new Killer is usually enough as a selling-point.

This perk will be the biggest cope for every single loss a killer takes, it is ONE day after release and people already built their oppinions, i guess they were built before the patch even went live but i guess now they all come out to yell at the devs.

Why do people complain about perks for chases when killers don't even chase anymore. Would you prefer another gen rush perk instead or what? I literally don't know what kind of perks do the community want anymore, people always have to complain.

Oh I meant mindbreaker or Blood Echo, not both of them simultaneously. But I'm quite curious as to which killers you're playing as. Because I don't have that issue with Nemi, GF, Spirit, or heck even Wraith. Which killer do you main?

Spirit doesn't really like Made For This. She is 110%, unless you manage phase on top of survivor, you are screwed.

This is the most recent info we have from the devs about kill rates. It's from September 2022:
Your assertion that 'only S-tier killers' break 60% is blatantly false, given that Freddy, Pig, and even Sadako have a higher percentage than most every other killer.
We also don't have stats on how much the gen kick meta boosted kill rates either, since this was published before Eruption took off to dominate the game. I believe the data they used, if taken the same time as the perk data in October, was pulled from just after the 6.1 patch, before the dust settled.

Killers with high rate have two things in common.
They are easy and confusing for new players. Both Sadako and Pig can get absolutely free kills, when survivors don't know how their power work.
But they are considered weakest killers in DBD, when you know what you are doing.
Top killers are getting away with it, because they are not easy to play, so their kill rate is not overpowering.
That's an issue with Big data balancing. If you don't understand reasons behind it, it's bad. BHVR failed at that aspect several times.

I tried using scavenger in just a niche build and it was awful really
Relies on RNG to give you skill checks and THEN gives you a penalty in which you can't even repair anything really

I 15 seconds+0.2 m/s or +5 % II 25 seconds+0.4 m/s or +10 % III 35 seconds+0.6 m/s or +15 %
game have bloodlust mechanic soo just play your game...

If you are forced into bloodlust for each hit, you lost that game.
Well, not with current event where you can just expose them.... but that will be gone soon.

No never has been and never will be because of so many random elements. That doesn't mean somethings don't heavily tip the scales.
It was teetering on the edge of stupid against a good swf before made for this even came out.
I have seen an increase in cheaters again too. Speed boosters and extreme boil over.
Games in a sad state.
Never thought I would miss bully squads. Now it's just gen rush with poor defence.
I play soloq and it's rare people seem to even know what they are doing.
