Wesker exploit feedback

Hi to you all good people at Behavior :)

Just want to make sure you guys saw this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJRBciai0EQ

People are abusing a glitch on how Wesker power works to make these impossible shenanigans (slide obstacles). And YES, I'm a Wesker main and disgusted by people wanting to win with him by literally cheating.

You could take advantage of him being disabled already and try to fix this.

Also PLEASE fix him before the anniversary evt begins. I was counting on it to raise his prestige lvl (and with that get A TON of addons), but we can't even spend bloodpoints in him while he's disabled.

NOTE: IMO what is shown in this video are people exploiting something, but if BHVR says it was intended (which I don't think so)... what can I do? :P

Maybe you guys already saw this and the reason he's disabled right now is that you guys tried to fix this and something went wrong.

Thanks. :)

Ah cool, a video where people learn a Killer to the point to where they can do unbelieve things that make his power more interactive and fun to play against. Something that can express the passion they have for a Killer and show off their knowledge and mechanic skill.

Oh wait, you say they are "exploiting to win" (according to you)? Nah, it's not always about winning, half of the Wesker mains Ive seen do this stuff talk specifically about having fun and hitting clips, they do not care about winning, if they cared about winning, theyd be playing Nurse and Blight.

But of course, we can never have good things in the DBD community because someone is bound to complain about some niche thing that most people dont care about.

Ok. Got it! Survs are suppose to lose, right?

Wesker was made to collide into walls and objects and not just slide or don't collide at all with these things.

Fun is indeed subjective, but by exploiting glitches... this kind of "fun" is the same as using cheats.

I enjoy facing against it, there are more things to think about and consider within a chase. Techs like these make the game more interesting for both sides, providing new ways of play and counterplay.

Also comparing it to "cheats" is objectively wrong. This is something that is in the game. It's not a 3rd party program, it's not some alternative software, it's hard-coded in the game because it literally is the game. If BHVR thinks it is an issue, they will fix it, but they havent, and this has been in the game for a really long time now.

I can't even with these posts.

    TEMPLATE:

    "Polite Greeting to Devs."

"X-players are doing Y-thing that is negative (cheating, exploit, toxic etc.). I would know as, yes, I am an X-player. It is not fun for EVERYONE." (*glad they can speak on behalf of everyone/majority)

    "You should fix this devs"

"polite admission that I am wrong if devs say so."

"polite salutation to devs with gratitude"

Is this some freaking template or equation? I legitimately feel every post typed this way is the EXACT same, regardless of topic/issue.

It is possible to politely and respectfully give an opinion without trying to generate the same BS post.

    Simply say.

"Hey Devs, Wesker is an awesome and super fun killer to play as and against. Although, similar to blight hug-techs, I personally find the techs and intricacies of Wesker's power slightly unfair and unfun to go against. Could you please either address these or disclose what is intended and encouraged, and what is unintended/exploitation."

If Wesker was made to collide into walls, he would not be A Tier, or able to compete with Blight or Nurse. You would just keep seeing those 2 Killers again.

And LMAO they said nothing about Survivors being "supposed to lose", perhaps you should consider pathing loops differently if you know you're going against a good Wesker player.

Honestly even the hug techs are very well counterable, and same goes for this one.

If a "exploit" is more or less fair and interesting despite being an exploit, I'd rather keep it.

It's not like certain infinite or double locker or even MFT, which literally can not be countered by any way.

I think I never faced a Wesker who used these techs.

The reason I want to point it out is only to indeed help the game to be with less bugs as possible (every game has bugs), not because I can't counter it. :)

Also... what MFT stands for? :P
