Singularity just gets worse

I'm playing against survivors who'll instantly disable my biopods, run away from a loop and pick up another one and then disable them again. They're literally managing to use multiple EMPs within like 30-40 seconds. This genuinely might be one of the worst killers in the game in his current state

He feels miserable to play. Several times I infect a survivor, they t-bag me and pop an EMP in my face. It really does feel like I'm playing an m1 killer. Infecting survivors themselves isn't exactly easy either. It really feels discouraging when you try to infect someone with an EMP, knowing they can negate your effort in like a second or two while running no less. The camera POV feels janky and very disorienting.

I get there's a learning curve to him, especially finding good spots for camera/pod placement, but even then his power is so easily countered. Plague's vile purge feels more threatening than overclock imo so why does Singularity have such a hard counter to his power that costs survivors almost nothing? I've played him the past 2 days and usually only get 1 kill. The matches were I do well seem to be the ones where I use my power the least.

It feels very frustrating that the past few chapters have given us unpolished killers on release. Both knight and SM had fundamental flaws with their power and weren't "fixed" until long after their release. How are these issues not caught sooner in the development process?

Difference between Singularity and those other two killers is that the overall design concept of Singularity has great potential and can be a fundamental success. Knight and Skull Merchant are just a failure in general with no real way to salvage them.
