Going for the Adept on Singularity kicked my butt for a few games.
I feel like his perks have some utility, but man oh man they do not really aid the killer they are on. Finally got my adept thanks to some of the worst plays I've ever seen on an attempting basement unhook and was able to switch back to my main perks.
Glad that the suffering is over, but man does anyone else feel like his perks don't really aid him much? I might just be a sucker for tracking

They're all perks that are very focused on the chase and that usually want builds dedicated to them to optimise thier value, singalarity doesn't need much support in chase so 3 chase perks is overkill and if you're running all 3 they aren't helping eah other reducing the value you get from them. Genetic limits is nice for hit and run builds of singalarity but the haste from machine learning/hindered from forced hesitation doesn't matter so much on a killer who can teleport on top of the survivors. I do like perks that work well on thier killer (such as corrupt intervention or discordance) however I can see the value in making perks that work well on other killers as that may encourage players who don't care about the killer to buy the chapter for the perks.

Yeah, the first thing I do with a new killer is an addonless adept as I feel it gives me the opportunity to get to know the base power and the new perks. This one took me longer than some others. That may partially be due to the power being something you have to get used to at first but I, too, felt like the perks don't synergize that well with each other with him. Each of the perks could be fun in a dedicated build but I've actually taken them all off as soon as I had the adept. I run a full hex build now and that's actually kind of fun and has better synergy with his power.
This is not unique to him though, for examples Bubba isn't necessarily the best user of Franklin's either.

True, true. I will say though, even with the BP nerfs I think BBQ is an excellent perk on damn near every killer. Just having an idea of where to go next is incredibly helpful if you're good at chases. I feel like that's really all I need to be successful with every killer.
Curious to see if Forced Hesitation feels good on my Billy, but I don't think I'd keep it on because I find that it feels bad to go against, and I never use perks that I hate facing for whatever reasons.
