Jolt - Bug or undocumented change?

As of 7.0.0, when the perk Jolt triggers on a generator, any survivor on that generator now screams.
I just want it cleared up if this was an undocumented buff (which has happened before) or if this was a completely unintended bug that'll be patched out.

No, it's fine. When Jolt goes off, it makes the generator explode, making a loud noise notification (I think). I don't think this is a buff, but a QOL change from a couple of updates ago.

The perk used to always do this. I always assumed that it was bugged when it stopped doing so. I guess they finally fixed it.
