Extremely unpopular opinion: I wish 180 flicks would return for Oni and Blight.
I know this is an extremely unpopular opinion and practically no one really agrees with me, but I really wish 180 flicks would return for both Oni and Blight. Was it balanced? No, not really, but was it fun and satisfying? Absolutely. Hell, even as Survivor I still kinda enjoyed going up against people who used 180 flicks back in the day since I'd usually be able to predict it.
But anyways what's your extremely unpopular opinion about DBD?

I know people will hate this idea but i want oldest DS and old Moris back. Game was more chaotic tho but i enjoyed this era.

This wasn’t something I necessarily cared about when it existed but it still shouldn’t come back. It had counterplay but it wasn’t intended by the devs.

oni can still do 180 flick not sure if you can do it with blight but yea

You can still hit 180 flicks on both.
The OLD 180 flick on blight was a lot of fun though. Or the true moonrush… good times.

You can do a poor mans 180 on blight but straight up the first iterations of blights flick (Japanese Flick) was unironically fair despite it being classified as an exploit and people complaining about it being "uncounterable". Compared to the first "patched" version then what we have now is more fair because you cant just do a 180 then instantly turn back out 90.

being unintended doesn't always make it bad though, lot of games have unintended mechanics.

Yeah but the "its unintended so it must be patched" philosophy is just flawed. If that was the mind set for every developer we would have really boring games especially the whole fighting game genre being dead where (if it was patched out) the only thing you could do was hit them once or have the built in mash combo.

180s with Oni are pretty difficult to hit, not like what they used to be. It feels much worse to use than when he first got it.

True, but with Oni it feels really difficult to hit and overall feels not that good to use, and Blight can still hit 180's although his 180's now are way worse and slower than before. J flicks were so damn fun to use and all the other techs he's lost too...

Yeah, but they're considerably more difficult to hit and feel way worse to use overall. When I say I wish 180s for these Killers would return I mean what they used to be like before they got "patched out."

This is kinda like saying I want recharge and range addons reverted on Nurse to how they used to be. She’s still easily playable now without them, but boy was she more fun and satisfying with them..
