Add voicecomms and a menu to choose the languaje you prefer so all players will be able to play with players that talks same languaje and tgen balance killer around it.

If other player yell or say stupid things or you dont want to hear his music mute him.

If you like the real solo experience just mute them all.

So this way game can be balanced once for all.

DbD is intended to be played in SoloQ or with a friend where you stick together and the only communication you can do are the various gestures. SWF messes it up with the voice comm. I don't want to hear other people talk (other people I do not know). Additional HUD options or some basekit perks could help SoloQ further; other than that killers need to be made stronger. Stronger in a way that camping / tunnelling / slugging will not be the only option.

Rocket League inspired pre-set texts would be nice such as 'I'll unhook'.

This will be problem for EU players tho. I don't think there is enough players from all countries in EU.

Well i know also count individual skill but you wont tell me that doing

Calls of which pallets are used, where are others, where is the killer, which perks have each other and coordinate some activities like a rescue from hook are really valuable

Another stuff its that you play chilling and just use comms to talk about your day to your friends but with comms u basically substitute "70 perks" and way more posibility to escape.

Only if they want to stick to their mother tongue.

Anyone can opt for English, which is or at least should be second language learned in school.

I feel like this wouldn't be a good solution...

For one, peolpe don't necessarily want to talk to strangers on a game reputed for toxicity, even if it's an option.

Second, most people who are on voice comms are chatting because they're friends and not always about the game (I know for one I'm often discussing movies with my friends while playing). Most SWFs are on the level of solos in terms of escape rate, according to the devs. Not every team uses strategic callouts, far from it.

Third, if this is implemented and killers get buffed to compensate, then the situation literally doesn't get better for the people who play without voice comms for a variety of reasons (don't speak english, have social anxiety, want to hear the game and be immersed, don't want to talk to strangers, etc.)

Fourth, if the game is balanced around voice comms, then it essentially forces people to use them efficiently even if they don't want to, and the game becomes a sweatfest. Want to play to relax or grind by yourself ? Now you've got 3 mates in your headphones blaming you for going down quickly in chase or not making specific callouts. (Or on the opposite direction, survivors banding together to shift the blame on killer "being toxic" or "having cheap strats" even if the killer is very much not)

Fifth, the BM. Not even counting people who would just load into a match to bully others, hot blooded people exploding in rage mid match (no one wants to hear your meltdown, chill), badmouthing the teammate who's bad at chases, and mostly, not bothering to help the teammate who has voice comms muted, because "they clearly want to do their own thing, why should I help them ?"... Yeah, not a great idea.

Those are just some of my concerns regarding adding voice comms to the game. I know mine would be off most times. I'm very non confrontational and something tells me if I'm already cringing when my friend mindlessly swears at the killer when he gets downed, I'm not gonna enjoy hearing strangers being all antagonistic towards teammates and killer alike.

It's solo queue, if you want to really be coordinated with others then you would find people to queue up with beforehand and probably be on Discord or something. Voice comms is not some magic elixir that will solve everything, if anything a very basic ping system would work better in the long run.

I don't want to hear 10 year old sqeeqy voices yelling "this killer is trash!" The whole match. I tried to play at dbd discord, most people where are toxic edgeloards who watched to many youtube videos and think they are as good as their hero ayrun. Spoiler alert - they aren't.

Voice only helps when teammates are on similar footing, and what absolutely kills most solo queue teams is wildly varying skill levels and playstyles in the same lobby. Comms help when the lack of information is the problem. They don't do anything when one player in the lobby has 240 hrs and has 7 second chases and one player has multiple thousands of hours and doesn't go down.

Voice Comms should never come to dbd. The community is already hostile, could you imagine voice comms being a thing and listening to racist, homophobic, ableist slurs all game?

Pre-text options would be the way to go
