Why is the knight even a thing
The knight is a boring easy mode killer that takes no thought or skill at all and in most situations has no counter play all around miserable to go against worse than nurse and she’s unbearable at times why was this even an idea

Knight’s easily one of the most frustrating killers to play against. Nothing feels worse than feeling like you have zero option but to die. Trickster on an open map/loop feels the same.

I prefer facing Knight than Nurse, Blight, Hag, Skull Merchant and Ghostface honestly.
Yes, he is annoying, the Shack is almost useless against him and if you are zoned you're basically down, but Full W work against him in a lot of situations.

Nah bruh just leave the loop, just keep running, it's your fault if you zone yourself, the map is infinite and you can keep leaving a loop and reach the next bruh, this killer totally requires careful planning and strategy, you don't understand, the game was totally designed to be chased by two things at the same time /s

a counter to his power exists so if survivors don’t use it then it’s on them. Do u just not help your teammates as well ? You just let them get zoned and downed and be like oh well it’s a knight nothing I can do

I get that most people don't like versing knight but this thread is just a bunch of incoherent ramblings after a lost game. Despite getting him to P100 I'm fully aware of the flaws of Knight's design.
You should point out those flaws constructively instead of creating a post solely to vent.

Just the usual "I have on opinion on something I haven't tried" approach. You and all those agreeing with you never used and tried to win tough matches with the Knight. Not easy as you have to assume / expect where the survivors will end up in a chase. And patrols are coming back towards you.

The only issue I have with him is the detection of his guards feels really wonky and inconsistent.
Other than that I've played against him so much when he was popular that I've become desensitized to his design and can beat like 95% of knight players without issue.

skull merchant place up a drone- sorry u can't loop here!
dredge put down a remnant- u most likely cant loop here
clown throw 2 to 3 bottles- u most likely can't loop here.

The only killers on that list that are fun to go against is clown and dredge at least with the dredge the remnant can be faked Artist knight and skull merchant suck the fun out of survivor

The dredge is super fun to go against for sure. clown ehhhh. i don't really mind knight myself but i can understand why most people hate him. like who wanna shift w the whole match? BORING
i think the knight would be more interesting if the banner was actually more reasonable to get in chase. of course that would make him much weaker but i feel he would be at least more engaging.

I agree and the clown was just more of like yeah he’s alright not the worst to go against it’s not really fun gameplay but definitely not the worst my opinion is either his guards should not have down potential or a really big cool down if you want to set them on survivors I think guards should be just used for map pressure tbh

Bro I’ve played since the Halloween release I have more fun running a nurse than the knight there is an actual counter break line of sight and do weird pathing and you should be good the knight is awful and boring the nurse actually requires skill so I can respect a good nurse

Not everyone wants to play zoom zoom killers. Its disorienting for some people.
Chase powers would just make every killer the same and would get boring hella fast.
Some killers like myself like to play methodical, slow, and practically evil killers. Its why killers like Skull Merchant fit my play style so well. But I can't enjoy her when I know for a solid fact that she's gonna get a fat nerf or rework soon and I have to constantly try to find a new killer to play.

This is exactly how I feel about survivor. The easiest, most boring, simple minded, thoughtless, skilless thing to play in all of gaming history. Yet people still take pride in their ability to play one, and complain about the other side. It's absolute insanity. Also, before you try and say it, I play mostly survivor.

Nah it’s not really when you play solo queue 4 man swf yes but solo is totally different in my opinion playing in a 4 man is stress free when solo is more stressful than any killer match I have ever played

Huntress is not a console friendly killer a lot like Trickster she requires flicking and tight button coordination.
If I wanted to mess up my joysticks and cause stick drift forever then I would but no she's not for me.
