Speed

I am 100% confident that running as a survivor on console is slower than PC. Made for this does nothing for me. I'll watch players do 2 or 3 loops and I can't get a full one in.

I play on PC and Ps4. The movement speeds on both platforms are the same. Maybe you are not cutting edges as sharp as pc players or one of you sticks is broken happened to my a while ago as well.🤔

I've often felt like this too but I know it's not a thing. I watch PC streamers during chase and the killer seems so slow to catch up, but then I'm in chase and I feel like the killer is up my a** in 2 seconds flat lmao. It's honestly probably why I enjoy going into chase with a Nurse. I'm not good at hugging walls and looping, but keeping out of line of sight and being unpredictable is something I can do.

Also Made For This didn't really make a huge difference in my chases either, so I went back to my exhaustion perk.

If you are running slow on console there’s definitely a good chance your run button is broken maybe even your thumbsticks have stick drift

As the person above me said controller issues could be a cause.

It's also (i think) trickier to cut corners and really hug the walls on console compared to pc and that matters a ton in how many loops you can do

I mean this in the kindest way possible but it might be skill

I know because I feel the same but on PC, people loop for days and I'm there barely managing to run around a car once

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think it may be a higging thing for me. But I'm also scared to get stuck. I swear every loop I try to hug tight I ALWAYS get stuck.

That's because they are adding Huntress hatchet collision to everything nowadays. gets worse with each update.

My run button is giving me this. I use controller on PC cause it's more comfortable for me (I grew up playing on consoles) and sometimes even if I am pressing it hard I have slowed down and would need to release it to press it again correctly.

It also doesn't help that looping closely is a lot harder on console.

I played Haddonfield yesterday and I was surprised at certain bushes I did not remember having collision, like what?
