Finishing all gens is not a loss for killers
I keep seeing over and over survivors talking about killers having lost if the survivors finish all the gens, usually in the context of discussions around NOED. Just a reminder for those folks that survivors don’t win by finishing all the gens, they need to open a gate and escape too!
Saying a killer lost because all gens are done is like saying a football team lost because they were behind on points with ten minutes left to go. The game’s not over, don’t act like it’s unfair for the other team to score at the end!

A loss is pretty much 1 kill and 3 escapes for killer, 2 kills 2 escapes is a tie, 3+ kills is a win. That's how i view it anyway if talking the actual "winning" terms. Some people are just happy to get a lot of Bloodpoints which is also a win, depends how you view things.

Love when people here excuse the exit gate tech which prevents the killer from picking someone up by saying that they lost the game anyway.

IMO DS (and OTR) shouldn't deactivate when all the gens are done.

OTR I can understand, but there's no reason DS deactivates in end game. A player has to play with one less perk for it to be worthwhile in the end game.
Like, that's the whole point of the perk. If they were going to make it deactivate both in end game and whenever you so much as remain in the vicinity of literally anything, then might as well let it trigger multiple times throughout a match.
But then again, that just makes it worse OTR anyways.

Based. I genuinely believe the whole free escape thing in regards to ds and otr is a myth because you still need to coordinate a double save like you do now without it, and after that it only helps either in ways that could be replaced by other survs bodyblocking or in very niche ways that a 4 out would be impossible otherwise. What really makes a difference imo is something like the anti camp system, now that's something you can consider free (despite getting all the gens done not really being free, but whatever different story)
