The EMP nerf will make singularity overpowered

Now that people have had time to learn how to play singularity he's become extremely overpowered in solo q games, if you don't have chance to get an EMP and he finds you you're literally screwed, his power makes it SO easy to tunnel you out because his teleport is extremely overpowered and he spawns way too close to you with no time to get to a pallet or vault at all and it has no cooldown whatsoever?

That's just extremely overpowered and it makes it so easy to tunnel someone out I don't understand how anyone can say that his teleport isn't overpowered? In solo q teammates don't help by bringing EMP's and as soon as you get rid of the gum ball thing with an EMP he just puts another on your back and teleports RIGHT behind you as many times as he wants and pallets are useless like what are you seriously meant to do - you have not time to grab an EMP when he's started to tunnel you and teammates in solo q don't help at all. Anyone else experiencing unstoppable tunnelling by singularity?

He’s good on Midwich. I dunno about other indoor maps. But if Midwich is anything to go by then I’d say he’s fine.

Midwich is the exception rather than the rule due to being one of the only indoor maps with relatively clean and long sight lines that survivors can't bypass. Lerry's and RPD are god awful for him.

His teleport does have a cooldown in the form of lock on wake up time which is 1.7 seconds and short lock out cooldown on teleports for 3.5 seconds from bipods.

EMPs take 100 seconds to print automatically, but only 25 seconds if you actually interact with the cases.

Overclock only lasts 4.7 seconds unless multiple people are infected which adds another second. They can be forced out of overclock with a pallet stun even though the does nothing it forces them into overheat which lasts 3 seconds and causes a movement penalty. Singularity has lots of little things that make him very clunky to play and using his power is actually quite disorienting. You have more than enough at your disposal to deal with and from what I've read of most people experiences on the forum he's still heavily gated by proper emp usage, but that's a survivor side issue where you and your teammates need to be more in sync rather than the killer being overpowered because trust when I say, he's not if you play him you'll understand what I mean.

He can seem very strong, but he really isn't that strong.

I've played a few matches against him now and it feels pretty fair IMO. I was still getting EMP's a lot but not nearly as much as before and he's pretty fun in chase depending on the map. I quite enjoy playing him and going against him.

Some maps favor him a bit too much and others too little but overall I think Hux is in a great spot. I wouldn't consider him OP at all.

Nah, he is not that good still. EMP are still common and powerfull and make chases take longer, he is very map dependant and his chase power isn't super amazing compare to many other killers.

Hes still pretty fine. Any killer will just slaughter a low efficiency soloq team.

Emps are still quite plentiful, you just now might have to spend some time interacting with a create to get one compared to before.

You can't use emps as aggressively but you still can if you play smart.

Overcharge is still a bit underwhelming for the setup. It's short duration a combined with the initial cd after the teleport mean you still have time to play around tiles.

Getting his teleport spammed on you repeatedly in chase feels extremely hopeless and oppressive. Unless you happen to have a series of windows around you to loop quickly there's nothing that can be done except waste resources and take hits. EMP is basically useless unless you have a whole team coordinating the use of them.

Sure. A killer that basically has no power most of the time is overpowered. Tough luck explaining that logic.

Larry spawns so far behind you after a teleport you can outrun his overcloak with no trouble at all. So basically teleporting doesn't really do anything. He is literally a M1 killer, if you do that against him and EMPs are not something you have to go out of your way in order to get your hands on them. They are always available and you can even see where they are.

He’s very easy to counter. I’ve died once to him because I got farmed.

Robot killer prob the most map dependant killer in the game is either it can place its bio pods in good places or terrible places to make use of its power there's not much of a in between.

Need to use EMPs wisely against this killer now since before the nerfs they were way too plentiful, survivors should have a means of counter play, but they should never be allowed to shut off a killer power so easily with no down side.

Ohh but blight and nurse arent OP in solo Q? I would say nurses and blight can down you fasterm

You can get your own.Btw even with overclock predropping allow you to reach to an structure or next pallet

No, he does not spawn far behind you he spawns RIGHT beneath you and the distance is far too short unless you're near a powerful window because pallets are useless. I've also explained that when you're mid chase and being tunnelled off hook you don't have time to pickup an EMP/ solo q teammates don't help, did you even read any of what I said?

Nurse is just broken and overpowered in general, solo q and swf teams are hopeless against any skilled nurse so she doesn't really count. I have no problem with blights and I'm quite good at looping/ dodging their power. Singularity I have just seen hardcore tunnelling with their teleport seeming unstoppable which is why I made the thread.

He has a decent gap behind you he spawns, and gets slowed considerably if he breaks a pallet. Calm down and play as him if you want to better understand what youre up against, just like any other killer.

Uhm. Yeah. You can literally outrun his power but he is right beneath you. Maybe, before you start making false claims you should actually play the killer. Or play against them for that matter. Vaulting a window while Larry is in overcloak is also a bad idea. Don't do that, he'll catch up. But dropping a pallet in his way is no issue. If you're really desperate you can pre drop pallets against him as well. He'll destroy them but it will buy you some time. And don't get me started on him breaking pallets with his teleport. That is mostly a worse option than breaking them manually.

When a killer tunnels you, you're always screwed. There is nothing that will save you from a tunneling killer other than complete superiority in chase. Larry really isn't even that oppressive in tunneling scenarios. You don't have an EMP? So what? He'll need to mark you again (wasting time standing still), catch up and then shoot you to get a teleport that will do what exactly? Somewhat counter Shift + W? Your argument is ridiculous and shows how little you actually know about this killer.

    Extremely overpowered?

    Extremely exaggerated.

I, a survivor main, apologise profusely for sharing my real experience of seeing myself and my solo q teammates being hardcore tunnelled by a bubble gum wielding robot.

I solemnly swear to not criticise a killer which can spawn mere meters behind me (an unlimited number of times with no cooldown) whilst simultaneously destroying pallets as this is apparently extremely weak and easy to counter, and only post forums regarding how overpowered survivor perks are in the hopes I do not get accused of making false claims and evidently hallucinating my experience on DBD.

I hope this brings closure to the killer mains of the DBD forum I hath offended with my callous lies and claims. Singularity is easy to go against in solo q and tunnelling is ok and finally, instead of complaining about this I now suggest nerfing calm spirit so I am taken seriously by killer mains and the forum users in general.

All people are saying is that your perspective is incomplete. Many killers powers counters and limitations are much more clear when you play them firsthand, plus you can copy tech that gets used against you, or just rake in free wins if they *truly* *are* unstoppable.

Lots of killers have broken powers if you are running under the assumption you have 3 potatoes on your team. On the other end of the spectrum you had 4 man swf on comms making this killer have basically no power with a little bit of teamwork.

I know it's frustrating, but they can't balance down to the lowest skill games without absolutely making the killer a joke in mid skill games/high skill swfs(see knight prior to buffs, singularity ptb, singularity post ptb).
