Do you plan to ever revert the changes made to pig?
I feel (and I think most of the community) that the "changes" (nerfs) to pig were unjust and unnecessary, with that being said I would like to know the reasons for these changes other then that the 'statistics' showed she had a high kill rate, when the reason for this is simply because people didn't understand how her traps worked and as a result they ended up dieing to them. As it is many years later and the community now understands her and how to counter her, because of the nerfs she got she is no longer viable without doing certain things. As a example whenever a survivor still hasn't gotten there trap off and it's been a few minutes I will start to patrol the jigsaw boxes to prevent them from getting the trap off, this usual only has a 30% chance of working and if I do find them I'll slug them so that the box is reset and they still have to search that one before moving on. I feel like doing this is not something that should have to be done on a match but you legitimately have to in order to have even a chance to get a kill using your bear traps, in addition to this shes overall a very week killer unless you get a down/kill within the first few gens, here are some of my suggestions to help her(I would love to hear some suggestions from the community as well In the comments) first and foremost, revert basically everything back to the way it was.(except the undetectable when crouched and dropping a survivor near the exit gates with an active trap will kill them, leave those the same) I think making her crouch and uncrouching speed faster as well as increasing her movement speed while crouched would be a very good place to start. Then you could rework her add-ons so that the ones that affect how fast you crouch can be changed into something else or they could stay the same but you could lessen the numbers as they wouldn't be as necessary. Then I think giving her something similar to The demogorgon shred ability or hillbillies and leather faces ability to break pallets would also be good, this way pre dropping pallets against a crouched pig wouldn't be as efficient. Something like if you Ambush and you hit a pallet your weapon gets stuck for a few moments before yanking it out and breaking the palate kind of similar to Charlotte's animation, or as I can see this might be too overpowered you could make an add-on something called like iron tip, which then would give the ability to Ambush palettes and breakable walls to break them. I think that traps and jigsaw boxes could stay mostly the same but I think changing it so that the first box has a 0% chance of getting your trap off( idk if that's in the game already lol) and then the second box only has a 10 or 15% chance of getting your trap off, then it's completely rng based after those first two. I think keeping it so that the second to last box automatically gets your trap off might be a bit too powerful, and it could instead be changed so that the second to last box has a 50% chance of getting your trap off so there's still some rng in it. However changing the second to last box might be too strong especially on bigger maps so then you could change it to that if your trap goes off as you're still searching a box instead of dying you can continue to search the box and if that one is your last box obviously you get it off or if you get lucky and you end up getting your trap off you don't die and you can still search it. Again I just think that these would help make pig a better killer especially because (as we know now) the statistics are complete and utter bs, the statistics for pig show that she had a high kill rate but only because she was new and people didn't understand her mechanic. As with insta blind flashlights (witch as soon as one of y'all went up against it was removed almost immediately) you guys need to actually be playing the game, not just in custom matches in order to test stuff you need to be physically playing public matches because that will actually tell you what matches are like. Especially because statistics don't show everything, I mean the nurse having the lowest kill rate and onryō having one of the highest? That's just not even close to being true, so when you make certain changes instead of just trying them out and a custom game and being like "Yeah this seems fair" maybe try playing against actual people, this way you'll know what a real match is like and you'll understand your community better, if you had just done that from the start then you would have realized that pig was really just a mid tier killer and the nerfs she received really just wasn't necessary. With all that being said, the fact that this has become a meme that the community and you the developers use is honestly kind of funny, however we can't forget that the reason this has become a meme it's because of the errors in judgment that were made way back when. Please listen to your community, play public games and actually test things out, I think that we, the community, as well as the game as a whole, would benefit from that greatly instead of just looking at statistics.
