clock tower "time correlation"

via a dev message on the anniversary loading screens, I found out about the clock tower chest on Midwich. But the message says the chest has a "time correlation". Does anyone know what that means? Does it mean that the loot changes based on how long is left in the EGC? Or something else? Anyone tested this?

It could reference how the clock on the clock tower switches time whenever you repair the two gens.

There's 3 certain gens you have to repair and once EGC starts the door will open. Can't ever remember which gens though.

it's only 2: chemistry lab (which is the one with the lab tables and the hole in the middle) and music room (with the piano). Which is why those two gens make the clock tower ring when you complete them.
