Can we have a setting to completely turn off in-game chat?
I know you can click the little tab button next to the chat. But I'd rather an option to just completely remove it that if I want to see chats again I have to go back to the menu and change the setting. It's too tempting to just have the tab right there next to chat for me and I just end up clicking it and reading or typing. And I'm just over the toxicity of dbd chat and just don't want it to exist for me basically.... so can we have a setting for that? That can only be changed from the menu? I don't wanna read or type in there ever again. It's just negativity negativity, I feel like in-game chat only serves as a means of people spreading hate and nothing else.

I don't have the need for this myself, but I always liked how the game Rimworld let you "permanently" disable its debug/cheat options if it tempts you too much to use them. If you do so, you can't get the debug menus back without going into a folder and deleting a file, while that probably wouldn't work on console it wouldn't hurt to have a "harder" disable that can only be toggled at the main menu options like crossplay.
