Possible rescue for the Demogorgon from legal purgatory??
I'm not a legal expert, but I do enjoy a lot of law tube, and one of the more interesting cases I saw recently surrounded Wizards of the Coast and D&D. Long story short, you can't copyright a rule set, the rules of a game are not legally protected under copyright, and it got me thinking...
The Demo moveset and skills are a part of DBD, not Stranger Things. The Stranger Things license is purely for the iconic and recognisable look and character of the Demogorgon. If the license can not be renewed, perhaps an alternative would be to create a new legally safe monster Killer (we need more of these!) and relegate Demo to being a legendary skin of that killer.
Put that new character on Sale/Shard store as normal, but have it bundled in with the Stranger Things DLC for people who already have it.
Add ons and alike will need to be changed, and ofc no Steve or Nancy, but at least it would mean new players can still play "The Beast" or "The Abyss" without him slowly becoming a rare relic of the past we all rarely see 😔

They don't even need to make all new perks or attach it. Just put it in the store discounted. It'd be the alternative for the alternative.
