I'm not bringing anymore terrormisus
I've spent most of this event playing survivor and every single game it's been sweaty nurses, sweaty Blights and sweaty Weskers. I don't mind the camping and tunnelling so much because I know gens are flying but it's the slugging that does it for me.
From here on in for the remainder of this event I'll only be bringing the following offerings:
- Garden of Joy
- The Game

Since I’ve been using a luck build I’ve been running salty lips the past few days got a few people dcing in loading screens because grrr not max cake offering

The Terrormisus will probably be usable after the event anyway. I still see cakes from a year or two back cropping up in regular trials, so if you do not wish to use them during the event, just treat them as Party Streamers later on when you feel the games improve for you.

I will personally not bring them for while I just had multiple very bad games in a row that is hard to even believe. Killers making sure everyone get as little bp as humanly possible and just tunneling blights and knights at 5 gens so I need to save bp now so my supplies of them don't get too empty. I bring garden of joy offering ofcourse so I get lot more bp in that map.

Lol you act as if those map offerings will do anything. Both nurse and blight are fire on those maps.

Weird, my game crashes during load whenever survivors bring those offerings. 🤨

There is a difference between aggression and writing the same thing you did in other words. You don't run BP offerings out of spite. Because you take offense in something your opponent does in a video game. Which means you take the game more serious than is good for you (or anyone else for that matter).
Go outside for a bit. Relax. Touch some grass and enjoy the warm sun on your skin. You'll feel a lot better.

If killer players are doing things to make other players get as little bp as possible you don’t call that spite? These offerings are meant to benefit everyone and be a sign of good will but some people do the exact opposite and try to be as nasty as possible. That doesn’t mean killers can’t kill but if they try to tunnel someone out, facecamp, and do as much as possible so others can’t participate or get points they’re just there to make other people miserable and they deserve whatever spite is given them. Still, it sucks because not playing any at all means good players won’t benefit but ppl are welcome to play whatever offerings they want.

It's good only for M1 killers in the same way that RPD and Lery's can be: survivors can have a hard time finding generators if they haven't learned the spawns. If the survivors are actually competent then it's an awful map for M1 killers, especially non-stealth ones.

Uh no. Game has the easiest gens to find. They're mostly in the open on the top floor and has one in every 2 rooms. On the bottom floor, the mostly all spawn in the same spot and are easy to learn in a few games. Otz explains why it's a strong killer map https://youtu.be/lIzwuFOOYiI?t=1869

I'll go against the grain and say I think you can bring, or not bring, anything you like. It's not an issue. My games have been fine for the most part so I'm bringing one every game, but it's not often I'll see 5 cakes so it's not like every single person is showing up with the goods. Some killers bringing survivor pudding instead and you kind of know how the game is going to go when you see that.

Haha flame aside, why do you feel the need to validate running a map-offering? They're intended to be the strongest for allowing you to build for the planned map. If anything I encourage it, just don't get upset when Killers start dc'ing mid-loading screen.

I mean killers and other survivors can see who brought which offering... I'm just saying some killers will tunnel the person out just because they didn't bring a cake. You might just be hurting yourself even more here.
Also that is very silly and childish behaviour but you do you. In the end it's just a game and you lose nothing by bringing that cake. You get more 100% when you get out of that game.

I would have called this petty and childish myself, (because you will get more Terrormisu in the long run if you get more BP now, but using them now) but I've also experienced a huge increase in petty, sweaty killers this event.
I just don't get it, we're all either playing for invites, or BP, and both of them come easily to the killer, and BP is even more easily come by if you let survivors play the game.
I get far more BP when I 2-hook everyone, then let everyone go, or at least get to end game before I choose one or two to sacrifice, than I do when I sweat and kill everyone in the first couple gens. And the survivors get tons of BP too, so they don't get cranky and do ######### like this for their next game.

How would you know, if that's their motivation? It could be they just want to win. Just like survivors that run BNPs. They don't do it out of spite but because it's something that allows them to win more games. Camping someone out of the game will get you the upper hand, if done properly. The player that gets camped will go out of the game with very few BP but that is more like collateral damage and not the innitial goal. So I wouldn't call camping spite. The same goes for tunneling and slugging.
Of course, players can play in whatever way they want as long as they don't break the game's rules. However, taking the game so serious that it has you spiteful is not a good sign. Which is why I suggested for op to go outside for a bit. Most of us have probably had days when we hated our opponents but at the end of the day it is important to remember that this is just a game and getting so upset over it isn't worth it.

Dude…. Bringing a BNP will give you 25% progress on the gen if done correctly and you can still be chased off the gen and have it regress. Even if survivors still had the old BNP it’s not the same for many reasons, and I’m sure you know that.

The motivation is the same. You use every tool at your disposal to win the game. You can make an argument about which one is more likely to turn the game in your favor but that is beside the point.

Forgot to tell you the fact that you are hurting other survivor players too, actually you are hurting them more because there is only one killer per match while there is three other survivors per match, which means you are making 3 survivors miserable while making a killer slightly unhappy.

I mostly play survivor and I constanly see how mean are survivors to the killers that have a hard time and then wonder why are there so many slugging/tunneling killers

Then don't bring it, you aren't obligated to bring cake and someone else isn't obligated to play how you want just because you did.
It always amazes me how people think event offerings somehow imposes a strict ruleset of gameplay that needs to be rigidly adhered to.
Lastly please bring more The Game offerings I burned all mine and now don't have any good indoor maps for scratched mirror Myers fun.
