Mid-chapter is on the way, probably soon we will learn details.
I am hoping Blight is part of it. I hope this killer finally will get all nerfs he deserved. His busted add-ons should go. Hug-tech should be fixed as well.

What I want? And probably won't happen?
Blights alchemist ring and Comp 33 getting tonned down, I believe all of his techs should stay.
MFT's second effect getting removed. (Otherwise the perk is fine)
DH not deactivating until next hook if it doesn't protect you.
Major buffs for weaker killers such as Trapper, Sadako, and Freddy + at least 7 more.
Addon passes for killers with **** addons like freddy and PH.
Extra BP being granted if the killer is tunneling you(not sure how to make this work)
BNPs getting a 15% reduction(25-10%).
Toolboxes and gen speed perks getting nerfed.
Basekit DS for 30 seconds that does not count down while in chase.
Removal of "hook x amount of survivors in the basement" challenges.
Realm repeat provention, so no more coldwind 20 times a day.

What I expect:
Garden of Joy and Springwood were rebalanced by adding more pallets!!!
Nurse had a low kill rate, so we buffed her!
Not enough Spirit players run non-mother daughter ring addons, so we buffed all of her addons including MDR!

The only major gameplay change I want in the game other than anti camp is a heavy blight nerf. I am so sick of playing against this ridiculous killer in solo queue. Someone either gives up immediately or is tunneled out at four gens in every game.

Removing the time limits on purchasable original cosmetics and adding back what was wrongfully vaulted and a commitment to reduce and remove the FOMO that plague this game and its community.

I'd be surprised if they managed to fix blight collision at all, to be honest.
Most maps doesn't even have consistent bump mechanics, I'm not believing they can fix hug tech in any way.

If hug tech can't be fixed, then it should be added to his kit. But then his base-kit should be nerfed a bit as well. Nothing big ofcourse. But he should feel fair.

Not too much, because this mid chapter will be focused on Nicolas cage, so, they cant do so many things in the same time, so, i expect a little improvements and A LOT OF CARE with Nicolas Cage, and a boring entire month talking about him while a lot of weak killers suffering in the new meta and soloQ suffering with tunnel and camp, but, we have NC coming. Dont expect to much from they, especially after last 3 chapters.

Here's the issue they can't fix hug tech best they can. Do is make it harder wesker can hug tech and his collision is similar to blights
So either they keep it as is or indirectly buff blight by making him more consistent

Honestly, biggest issue right now is matchmaking is not strict enough, and I'd love to have this addressed, but I know it's not going to be, so I'm just going to copy you, which is my big issue #2, in that I want blight's addons to be addressed. Although I hesitate to say it's an expectation, because I really don't think they will be doing that.

I would rather them not neuter Blight tbh.
I just think basekit pallet break and alch ring should get removed. Everything else is fine.

And like I’ve told you before, Hug tech is the most counterable thing in his kit.
If they “fix” hug tech, they will ultimately have to fix his collision, and then you REALLY won’t like blight. Bump logic is far superior, when collision grants it.

It would be very welcome if they finaly balance out Blight's add-ons and
rework Skull Merchant.However, keep in mind that Blight is one of the top popular Killers and nerfing him too hard will cause even less unique matches for everyone involved. You will see even more Weskers, Nurses, etc.

Waiting for crouch tech(which can hard counter Demo and Billy and to some degree Blight) and Wesker vaulting bug to be fixed, but probably a huge copium on my part.

I agree about alch ring, but I wouldn't really consider c33 'fine'. c33/alch ring/(and imo stacking crow/rat is just ever so slightly overtuned) being addressed wouldn't neuter him, he'd still be a still be firmly S tier.

It's okey to fix his all bugs. I don't wanna buggy things in game. If this makes him even stronger, then we will ask more nerfs.

Why? I am not saying nerf Blight into ground. Just asking make him fair. He is pretty busted atm.

But he’s really not? He has 2 addons that are OP. You could even make speed not stack. But the rest of him is completely fair.
The changes you’ve talked about would drive many people to wesker and nurse. Die hard mains such as myself would stick, but many wouldn’t.
You say to remove the hugtech, by far the most FUN part of his gameplay, while maintaining counterplay. I’ve seen you mention reducing his speed to 4.4. Again would destroy blight for new / average players, leading to more frequent weskers and nurse.

A few perk buffs, maybe a nerf or two
some Skull Merchant changes, I'm optimistic they'll address common complaints and give SM fans something they like

Not only 2 add-ons. His speed add-ons are also problem. And i don't think they can't make them not stackable. Maybe nerf them both, so people still can use them together but they won't feel busted anymore. So there should be cap for Blight's max speed, that's what i am asking for his speed add-ons.
And hug-tech. If this can't be fixed, he should lose ability to break pallets and walls at least. His base-kit is good enough, this bug should go. With all of his bugs ofcourse.
And i never said make his speed 4.4 tho? I think this will be pretty bad nerf. Good Blights won't be affected while mid & bad Blights suffering. His rush speed needs one cap, that's all. I don't have any number in my mind but it should be fair for killer and survivor. His base rush speed is fine but speed add-ons makes his speed problematic.

I disagree that his speed addons are a problem. They are very punishing if you cannot control the power well. And with inconsistent collision, you can find yourself slipping off an obstacle at rocket speed and you’ve lost the chase entirely.

Blight doesnt need any nerfs, just his addons. He takes a lot of skill to play and counter, he only wins if he is the better player. Which i think we can agree is how video games should work.
Also no lets not remove hug tech. He'd be useless at so many loops.

If I could change 5 things in the next patch I would:
- buff Trapper. He’s the OG and needs some love and having to pick up all your traps is so annoying and his add-ons need work.
- I’d change medkits to where they dont incur an efficiency penalty when used on yourself. Doing so makes them redundant and there are times where survivors need to be able to heal themselves. Likewise, I’d change BK to remove the efficiency penalty as well and just make it so the speed boost doesn’t work while using a medkit.
- I’d implement features to tone down some of the effects from blinding and the fov to help people with sensitivity to such things.
- rework No Mither so that it’s actually useful without being a major handicap.
- implement the random perk challenges into all future tomes and remove some of the more questionable ones.
Theres a lot id change but that’s where I’d start so there’s something for everyone.

Generally, when things that are overtuned or OP are nerfed; their pick rates drop.

If it adds depth and skill, it being a bug doesnt justify its removal. Bugs become features all the time across gaming. being on the nether roof in minecraft is a staple of the game and its a bug. Blights buggy tot he point that using the bugs in the right ways is a form of skill for him.

I mean there was many things in the past of dbd that were considered bugs and implemented. Billy curves and any survivor movements techs would just be gone. But only because they have yet to publicly announce this one is ok that so many people complain.
Why do you want the hug tech removed so badly? It's value is mitigating the need for as many rushes during map traversal and makes filler pallets good for him. Any real tile it's better not to hug tech and it genuinely does have more a lot of counter play.
Are you just going to respond to this with "But its bug"? I sure hope not.
He is saying how spinning was originally a bug in the game before the devs eventually said it was fine and that it heavily hurts console killers without much control over it themselves.

Honestly after the medkit update, I think we might be getting another survivor item rework. They've said they're focused on community feedback, and the community hates on BNP a lot (and not without reason). So I could see a toolbox rework.
We've already got flashlight changes recently, I don't think they care too much about maps and keys, so yeah, bet is on toolbox.
I'd love for them to make map offerings rarer too, because right now the map offerings are taking up all the space in green nodes in the bloodweb and I'd unironically like to have more broken keys and maps, if I'm to want to learn and play with them. But I don't think they're changing map offerings soon.

Keeping this bug in game and making it feature will be buff for Blight and i don't want this. Blight is last killer who needs any buff, only nerfs should be for him.
If they are gonna keep hug-tech in his kit, then he should take more nerfs than add-on nerfs.

Why?
Give me reasons that aren't just completely ambiguous.
It is not a buff to a character to keep something in that they have had for 2 years now.
Again hug-tech mitigates rush usage during map traversal and can turn filler pallets into 60/40s.
I can say with certainty you likely have a less than adept knowledge of Blight. Not to call you out but there are probably less than 100 people in the world who really know blight.

He is already strong, why we are letting him use bugs and abuse them? Blight only deserves nerfs atm. What we should do next? Buff Nurse?

Realistically - I want more news on planned reworks and a return to dev streams in some capacity - I loved seeing their design process on things. It felt like they were really open years ago when the dev streams were a thing.
