How many games must I lose as killer for my mmr to adjust?
I've only gotten a 3k once in the last 3 weeks, had a few 2ks but alot of 1k games in a row .
I started playing in 2022 but for some reason am paired against surv who started in 2017 and have played consistently since(no matter how many times I lose)

No idea killer is miserable now unless you play toptiers. Survivors gen rush and rush. I almost have stopped playing killer even soloQ is better.

It won't adjust. MMR is so loose now it might as well not be there. And with zero good gen defense perks, any team can beat you these days. They just got lucky their teammates weren't babies, as is common in solo.

It really is miserable. If you play any M1 killer this game is just a mess now. And when they do gen rush you now which almost every game you can't even catch them at endgame because they are using MFT and Hope. It's hard to even catch up to them with that busted ass combo.

Stop playing Killer, devs won’t care until Survivor queue times go back up to 10 min+ because hardly anyone wants to play Killer

What's your playstyle? Are you a one hook per survivor before the second killer? In other words, are you a nice killer?

I avoid TTVs and obvious SWFs. Otherwise items and prestige levels dont bother me. If you avoid those then you'll never get good at the game.

I play on PS5 so I can't really check steam profiles. But I can usually tell when they are an off platform pc player.

Careful, switch and Xbox are also off platform and indistinguishable by crossplay symbol only.
This isn't "Dauntless" were every platform get their own symbol.

Hackers still exist. Checking those profiles is worth the time. Dodging swf is an additional bonus

It was Eyrie of Crow before Dead hard and Coh nerf.
The most surprising thing was no Coh, 1 DH, 1 Sprint burst. I had 6 hooks and 1K.

The gen regression nerf caused a lot of people who relied on stacking perks like COB, Overcharge, Eruption etc to struggle I think.
That meta really caused people to play way above their skill level due to it being pretty oppressive, particularly on 3 gens. Now you have a load of people that can't stack pressure as effectively. Updated and new survivor perks that directly effect gen times are also a big factor and definitely hit players that relied on gen regression even harder imo.

I can see where you are coming from because I have a friend who also shares the same opinion as yours, however to me any game that is lost due to hackers or swf stomping is a waste of time. I have limited time to play and I rather not waste it on these two groups of people if I can help it.
Going up against stronger teams also means that I may get a depip which leads to reduced bloodpoint rewards. I still have lots of characters to level, that’s why I have been using Distressing + Beast on Wraith for this event and going for multiple hooks regardless of win or loss at the end.
Looking at your post reminded me of my friend’s attitude towards dbd as he doesn’t need bloodpoints and only goes for fun plays. Unless you have some additional benefits to justify going against stronger teams, I don’t think there’s much to converse about.

On one hand you insult people in this thread as fools for agreeing with OPs experience and say everything is fine and on the other you yourself were frustrated enough, at an earlier point, to make a thread on here about it.
Experiences in this game differ from region to region, platform to platform and time of day. Maybe don't call other people names when you weren't much different at some point.

This probably has something to do with it, but I feel like enough time has passed for a correction to take place in terms of MMR. As others have alluded to, I think they just tuned SBMM to accept such a wide range that it essentially doesn't exist at this point. We're back to rainbow ranks.

Allegedly once you reach 'top MMR' there is a soft derank prevention. Keep in mind also 'top MMR' is literally the top 25% of the game's population so if you are crawling up barely in the 25th percentile, you can go against enemies within the .0000001 percentile still. Basically the best thing to do is intentionally go for 8 hooks (2 hook each Survivor and not kill anyone). Even if you reach the point where you are 'winning' (reaching 8 hooks and slugging them over and over to cap your BP) most matches, you probably still have to do that for quite some time to get past the anti-derank mechanic. This will also train you in how to spread pressure and get multiple hooks so that in the future you can win real matches with camping or doing the toggle tunnel (Hooks on Survivors A,B,A,B,A,B,C,D) to crutch for wins. This also has the nice side effect of everyone in endgame chat liking you, giving either an ego boost or kind words in endgame chat instead of being berated.

If MMR doesnt work, then I and other killers should be Matched against siMilar teaMs. And for that IM refused to to believe killers is struggle so hard because My gaMes arent hard at all.

I don't think mmr doesn't work at all. I'm a very poor survivor, yet my games almost always feel winnable if the team played correctly. I still die most of my games, but I rarely feel that we did not at least have a chance to have a couple escapes and fumbled it.
I don't play killer very often, and my mmr on killer is also probably quite low, since I'm not too bothered with being efficient and sometimes let people go. Similarly, I usually get survivors that are also casuals and not amazing in chase or too fast with gens.
So lower mmrs are doing okay I would say, at least on EU. It might mostly be higher mid and high mmr that are muddled together ?

I’m not sure about that. MMR takes a while to drop, and then you have to consider queue time prioritization as well. I think a lot of these killer mains boosted themselves due to cheap tricks and now they’re facing survivors who 1.) Know how to play against cheap tricks and 2.) Don’t really have to worry about those cheap tricks. It’s not like anything about gens has changed on the survivor side since the EruptOverBrine nerf. Survivors are blasting through gens now because healing sucks and wastes too much time, boons are pretty bad so no incentive there, and being in chase is riskier because healing sucks. So the smartest thing to do since survivors can’t afford to waste time anymore is push gens. And these killers feel it more again because they don’t have their cheap tricks to carry them. Well, not besides tunneling, which still works (3v1 ASAP).

Tunnel the first survivor out at 5 gens
proxy camp the 2nd survivor but stop the tunneling now
always go for an injured survivor, rinse and repeat
always 3k guaranteed considering hatch
run Corrupt Intervention, Lethal Pursuer for the early chase/tunnel
STBFL and Pain Resonance is a good option for the remaining 2 perk slots

mmr is damn near imaginary which is why i don't understand the lobby dodging shaming people like to do.

I won 30 games a row with wraith so winning few games does not telll anything. he is still weak killer if survivors know what to do.

When you play enough killer you know your skill is only small factor. You can down survivor in under 30s and still 3 gens can pop if they just do them.

Im not sure, I mostly do 7-8 hooks before kill, especially I only kill in end game if I use End game build (so survivors can taste it). Surely I miss alot of kill than I should. And my games are generally pretty easy, alot of time I got 4 hooks with 1 Gens done, I pause for them to either heal up or 1 Gen done before I continue on the match. And I mostly play Trapper.
If MMR isnt exist at all, means everyone's games are the same. Im afraid that killers in generally is really really bad..

i also like to two hook everyone as well unless I'm going against a team who killing me out the gate. From going on long win streaks and some bad streaks with killer i can say with certainly my opponent caliber rarely reflect how good/bad I'm doing. Just random team after random team with no consistency of skill level. Might just be my own experience but i truly don't believe mmr exist.

I don't give survivors a break. I take the 4k if it's mine. So on the opposite spectrum I can say the same thing. Survivor consistency is non existent. I may get two or three 4ks then a few 0ks (along with some in between). I feel like my MMR jumps between two levels. The level where it's too easy, and the level where it's too hard. Hardly ever in the middle.
