How do you become a "member" in this forum?

I've been trying to access stuff like news, but it won't let me access it, and it keeps saying that I'm an applicant for some reason. Does anyone know when I'll become a member?

Did you verify your account through the e-mail you received?

Yes, however it still says that I'm an applicant. It also won't allow me to view any news sections unless I log out.
