Who cares if Survivors aren't having fun. Need to hand out easy 4 Kill Wins to Killers.

Have u seen Claustrophobia changes? It's f ridiculous. Coup de Grâce is ridiculous too. 90% of killers plays on stolen public library WIFI so they have Coup basekit. Lets give them another 8 m reach. Not gonna spend another dollar on this game.

Claustrophobia activate upon survivors completing a gen and if survivors complete multiple gens around the same time the killer effectively loses out on the limited uses of the power. This buff is nice, but it's hardly going to give killers a free 4K.
Coup de Grace like Claustrophobia, only activates on gen being completed. Now instead of 5 uses, they get 10 uses. Not really going to break the perk besides letting killers actually use their perk more often.

Relieving Killer frustrations- Brand New Part. Killer fun more valuable to BHVR. Who cares if Survivors are frustrated. Changes for Survivors are big L.

That particular update seems to be killer sided, but it's just one update. Also, everything seems fine tbh. Coup de grâce is nothing to worry about and I think the only things Coulrophobia & Hex: Crowd Control will do is make a bunch of Lithe players use Sprint Burst instead (or the newly buffed smash hit).

Dude, you have to remember that majority of player base is plying solo q. Playing with randoms that can vault windows is frustrating enough. What will happen when you will remove that possiblity? Easy 4k in 80% of solo matches. I get it that plying killer at higher MMR or plying against SWF is frustrating but deva have to remember that most of survivors are casuals.

It's 30 seconds windows are blocked per gen completed and the duration doesn't stack, just reset.
Pallets still exist and don't get blocked. And if you are so concerned that you can't run the killer you could always hide and wait out the perk.

For 75% of killers Coup is baskit now. You wouldn't believe how big is lunge reach of killer with bad net.

In solo q it means that windows are blocked for 2,5 minutes every match. GL

You have to realize you are literally complaining that your teammates in your games complete all 5 gens allowing you to open the exit gate and leave. It has nothing to do with the perk being too strong and I'm sorry that you have competent teammates in solo q.

Also did you miss the part where they nerfed every single regression perk except surge? Killer sided as we can see. And the spirit addon nerfs. And the death of ruin after its glorious era. And how for the first 4 years of the game killer was uplayable on anyone but nurse for the most part. But nooo... 2 perks got buffed that only pop when you are losing.

You got Brand New and Prove Thyself nerfed and you'll still take me out of the game at 5 gens. 4 minute games are only unfun if Killer receives. Who cares if Survivor have 4 minute games.

There's no anticamping mechanics this patch.
What worries me the most, is actual asymetry of this patch full-power wise. Strongest stuff on survivor (broken medkit and broken toolbox) got rightfully nerfed.
But we are still left with blight and his 5 OP addons, plague with double iri, tombstone piece meyers, pinky finger clown, etc etc. Meaning when killer gets frustrated, he equips broken addons. When survivor gets frustrated, he can uninstall or play against those addons...
There's a reason why so many BNP's were being used this much recently. I fully expect for survivor player base to shrink after this patch...

I play with 30 ping or less, so I don't really know.
Never really had issue with killers having high ping while playing survivor (EU server).
You are definitely not going to see 75% of killer with Coup.
It's mainly M1 killer perk, that already shuts it down to 20%, which is Jolt pick rate.
Jolt is better than coup, because slowdown...
If coup gets over 5%, I will be surprised. You need to play around that perk to use it properly and most players won't be bothered to do that.

If survivors die at 4 minutes, they screwed it.
Equivalent of genrush is 3-gen and they already said nerfs are coming.
What you complain is tunneling and don't really see an issue. Killer needs to get someone out of the game before 1 gen is left to win the game.
I don't mind tunneling, because I get to chase with that killer. Camping was boring, so they nerfed it. That's good.
If you have issue with tunneling, then I have some bad news for you. It's going to get worse when they nerf 3-gen. Depends on how much tho.

I am plying EU servers too. 75% killers have bad net (mainly russians). Every second hit looks like Coup.

I was expecting it come with those changes, but it's true removing grabs is going to help a lot imo.
Playing around grabs was stupid and could easily lose whole game. Now you can go for unhooking trade alone without worrying to get grabbed. I think this is huge buff for survivors.
I don't consider this patch unbalanced that much.
Perks changes are better for killers for sure, but none of them is slowdown, so it's unlikely they will become meta.
I am looking forward trying trail of torment and Coupe. But they are not meta material.
BNP and prove nerfs are great, but that's more SWF thing. So I wouldn't worry about that.
I will trade BNP for bots and removing grabs any day.
Spirit add-ons are nerfed, that's great too. Blight is probably next.

Well. Full power level got changed this patch. In case of no restriction and 2 best teams going against each other, I would 100% bet my money on killer this patch. And it's not just blight that has some stupid addons.
As I said - there will be no counter (but much more experience), against say tombstone piece meyers now. And if you get 3 of those in a row, your options will be a, loose to 4th such a killer b, go play killer yourself c, uninstall.
The game had broken things on both sides making it kinda fair. Now only killers will have broken things.
Disregarding this huge issue, the patch itself would be fine

Killer don't want to be challenged or inconvienced. Only easy 4Kill Streaks. Meanwhile BHVR give Survivor 7,000 for their time playing. Killer walks away with 35,000. BHVR just punish Survivor for playing good. Only Killer gets applaud.

How often you see Myers? Let alone tombstone myers.
I haven't seen tombstone piece meyers this year and maybe 5 total played against. Usually it's meme either mirror or full iri. Nothing new mori addons are broken. I have said multiple times to nuke those addons and buff basekit.
New BNP is kinda interesting, because it basically brings back old gen speed. So it's kinda funny how it also nerfs killer's slowdown perks. It's still going to be really good addon to use, but won't be that insane. I don't consider that an issue.
Why do you think killers would win all games? If you talk about tournament level, survivors are restricted by their rules way more than simple BNP nerf and still get escapes.
You are not going to see those perk changes that much, except Prove thyself of course.
So main changes:
-survivor bots
-BNP nerfed (you will still see it)
-Prove thyself nerfed (almost noone will use it)
-removed graps
It simply doesn't seem that killer sided for me. For average player base, this patch will improve games for both sides imo.

Normal competition ruleset prohibits strongest stuff on both sides. But from time to time there are competitions that allow everything for both sides.
It usually ended pretty even, or little bit on killer's side (mind you - within statistical error close). But this thing allowed BNP's (with real stacked usage) on one side and C33+alch ring blight on the other (but spirit, nurse, artist, wesker and few other killers were played just as much).
What we got now is nuked BNP's and medkits, vs nuked spirit (keeping all the other killers just the same)...

Yeah, sure. But I wouldn't call this killer sided. You really think m1 killers will somehow become good, because BNP nerf?
It's still contest of top 3 killers vs top tier SWF and I really wouldn't balance around that.
Nurse got nerfed some time ago.
Spirit now. Blight is probably next on list...

No. I am not saying that.
I said taking the strongest stuff both sides can bring (which means immediatelly disregarding soloQ and M1 killers), I would now rather reliably bet on killer's win should both equally skilled (extremely good) sides bring most busted stuff.
And again I will repeat myself, that if we disregard bringing most meta stuff for both sides, then the patch is actually pretty good.

Oh. And I forgot to answer to you. Sure, tpiece meyers is kinda rare, but at least for me not as rare as for you. I would say I see him about 1x per week, maybe little less. But it is still almost always 4k (or 3k+hatch)

Piece is broken and I think it should be nuked and buff his basekit.

Tbf in that same patch where they nerfed regression, they also nerfed healing for survivors. And that wasn’t at all a small change. Both sides walked away with wounds.

You get 0.5s warning instead of 0s of warning. It takes 2s (4s if you are lucky) instead of 0.5s, you make 2m (or 4m if lucky) extra distance instead of 4m, you can be hit during the thing (so no going thru hatchets, trapper traps, doctor's shocks, etc). And also old DH absolutely made you exposed for a short time. Yes. Exactly the same thing...
The amount of overreaction on every even remotely useful perk for survivor is insane

I see mostly survivor buffs and niche perk buffs for killer (although net nerfs across several killers).
This also doesn't include hook hrab removal which is a clear nerf to killers

It's free distance with nothing but a 0.5 second channel that barely gives you any kind of slow-down. It's an on-demand free escape from a lunge or leap to a pallet/window whose only potential drawback, 12 seconds of Exposed, barely puts you at any risk when you can just vault the window or throw the pallet you got to for free and depending on RNG you'll get a free commodious or syringe instead of any sort of punishment.
Not that good, though.

2 of those challenges were before genkick and right after genkick. Those perks were NOT used for the results I was talking about...

The important thing is - comparing it to lithe/sprint/mft/balanced/new smash hit/overcome/.... And I would say it would definitely NOT land at the top of those power wise (sure, it's absolutely also not as bad as old smash hit). Fun-wise, it would actually probably get to the top though.
It's not that free, if it removes other perks that in fact ARE free distance (and exhaustion perks were always class of perks that gave "free" distance - which is needed to at least partially counter dead zones that killers can create).

Exactly. In another post I just mentioned that I'll unhook, do a generator, kite the killer for 3 generators, heal and come out with 12K. I get so exhausted from doing that for almost NO BP I end up turning off the game and falling asleep.
On killer I can blast my favorite songs, do way less work, get a ton of BP np. I see a real issue here and hope they do something to balance the BP reward. I'm not going to be putting in so much effort for such little return anymore.

I don't think hes in low MMR, I think he just hasn't played killer and doesn't ever want to lose as surivor. Most of the issues seem made up and I think hes just trying to say "game is hard, make game easy".

It's one of the most free perks I've seen in a long time. What those other exhaustion perks are good for bar MFT is helping you get to a new tile. I know that Dramaturgy's numbers are smaller, but when you're actually looping, the thing that's truly important about the speed boost is you have an on-demand ability to completely outpace the killer for a full 2 seconds with almost no drawback. That is EXTREMELY free. An on-demand boost like that WILL get you to that pallet or window you're playing around, and it is precisely what made old Dead Hard so obscenely broken.
