If Someone Changes their Name to indicate they are doing a challange...what do you do?
Personally, as killer I try to help them out. Since I've been stuck on challenges before and its frustrating when you can't move forward on the tome. Also, it helps to get people past some of the challenges where you almost have to throw the match to get it.

As a console player that can't change the name without paying, i don't tend to play ball unless it benefits me or if i'm doing a specific challenge myself. If they're doing a blind challenge, then no. I might let them get a couple of stuns though if the game is going well for me.

I can’t even figure out how to change my name lol

I guess I should be more clear, it's really a steam thing. You just edit your profile

I saw it once, someone asking if they can stun the killer. It was a Nurse and they still played for kills, but floated up to the pallets and let the player stun them lol

Well thats my point, just help out someone and we wouldn't be so toxic. I just finally got that Mettle of Man TC where you have to be Ash, activate the perk, use it and escape. It look 5 hours and only because a very cool streamer let he have it.

I dont think ive ever run into one tbh.
But i guess i might help them out, cause lots of the challenges are stupid.

Yeah it was nice of them. I was on a gen and watched it happen. Plus it benefits some killers too, because it's easy pallet removal lol but pallets don't matter to Nurse so they purely did it to help

Depends on the situation. If it's the end of the game and "PalletStunChallenge" is the last survivor and is gonna die... I might carry him over to a pallet so he can get it done b4 dying. I'm not gonna throw the game to help him out though

Benefit of playing on Switch I guess. I can change my name all day.

I will tunnel him to sent in the next match asap, maybe he will be lucky to meet more kind killer. I have no interest in helping in challenges, they’re called challenges not for nothing. Improve in different game aspects, learn something different to hiding in bushes and holding M1. Myself, never frustrated when I fail to complete challenge and can feel really proud of myself when manage to complete it. It’s not interesting to be basically carried.

It depends on the circumstances, but I usually try to help them out.
I still to this day let every David with No Mither go because hell no to that challenge/adept.
I remember the very first time it happened too. I was playing Trapper on Yamaoka Estate and got absolutely juiced by a Claudette, that accidentally brought us to the death hook No Mither David. I ignored him and he gave me his toolbox at the exit gates, it seemed like he was really happy so it was a nice experience.

I, as an ex killer only player, would've done the same and help them with their challenge, especially since I mostly played for dailies or rift challenges as in trial goals
But this is another point of inequality in the game.
Survivor can't see killer names, outside of a dead member of an swf I think, so while killer can show such generosity, survivor CANT ever do that.
