I'm the worst team mate

Just had a game where there were 2 of us left (the other two had left) and the killer was hanging around the exit gate. I was talking to one of my kids as I ran past my team mate crouching near the gate. It didn't occur to me that he was injured, I assumed we were home free. So I ran past him, took a hit, and only realised before I left that his icon was injured. Didn't know what to do and the killer downed me out the gate. I spectated and he got caught and hooked. I had a medkit I could have healed him with had I'd been paying attention. And it's possible he was crouching near the gate because he was asking me to heal him.

Please share the times you were a bad team mate to make me feel slightly better lol

It happened once that I was in chase, and from the corner of my eye see that shack is not that far. I'm terrible at looping in general and thought "hey for once might as well try shack"

The two other injured survivors were healing in there. We barged in like the FBI.

I stayed in the doorway to bodyblock the killer and give them a little time to run somewhere, and got downed, but I felt terrible.

I've been running Aftercare since then and it has not happened again thankfully ! =)

That's not even your fault though... 😭 Don't think you HAVE to run a perk just because of that situation. There's no reason for you to feel terrible about it, they just chose a inconvenient spot to heal at and they most likely weren't even annoyed at you because when you're in chase you always wanna go for the strongest loops in the area.

Don't worry about me feeling like I have to run a perk for these situations ! ^^

I actually really like running Aftercare now, as my sense of direction is very bad and I often struggle with finding points of interest. Seeing my teammates auras lets me know where gens are and where chases are happening, and it's been so much more comfortable playing now that I use it. It's also great to coordinate with solos as they know where I am if they need a heal or if we need to decide who goes for the unhook =D

Just yesterday we had 3 survivors at gate, 1 dead vs. A Nemmy. I was wounded but we were out...

I stood on what I thought was the edge of the gate to give the Nemesis a gg free hit to belly flop across the finish line... Only I wasn't on the edge... I'd lined myself up with a beam a meter or so in.

Nemmy smacked me, but I'd already half put down my controller... so I reacted too slow to realise I wasn't out, I got grabbed and he hit one of the other suvivors before carting me away to hook.

These 2 brave souls tried to rescue me and managed to make the exchange, but both got slugged. They were both Dead on Hook... so he grabbed one and hooked him... I tried to res the other, but Nemmy pushed me off and forced me out of gate 😥

I had to go take a shower after that one 😖

"Barged in like the FBI" made me laugh haha that does seem like an honest mistake, I'm sure they forgave you. I've never used Aftercare, think I need to start so I don't just Sprint Burst right past my team mate and out the gate again :'(

Oh yes, I've had those games haha make a potato move and watch everyone go down trying to fix it. I stupidly tried to save someone in basement today against a Trapper and went down. My last 2 team mates could have left but stuck around and thankfully it paid off. But I felt like such a novice, I literally walked into his trap at the door. The person I was trying to save even DC'd on hook when I got trapped, I feel like they were trying to tell me something lol

Ahahahaha, into a basement Trapper, yikes xD

If you lived, you got so lucky xD

I recall one where I was so careful going in, cause I knew how easy it was to throw the game... got the unhook, ran upstairs thinking "just don't run blindly...". The Trapper came through the non pallet door and hit me... for some reason all that caution and acknowledgement of trap danger instantly disappeared, and I sprinted to Window straight into a trap.... as the person I saved also panic ran face first into the trap at pallet xD

I'm trying to train a little voice in my head to say "they are hooked in Trappers basement... they're already dead... they just haven't caught up yet" xD

Body blocking small places by accident. It happens pretty often, especially on maps like RPD who have those tiny doors.

The other times are probably when the killer was facing me while picking up and I ######### up my flashlight save (to my defence I am on controller).
