Is NOT doing objectives reportable?

Just had a match where p9...Ada was just urban evasioning, most likely for the past 5min, because she neither went for a save or touch a single gen while 2 others were still alive. She was literally just crouching around the map/hiding for whatever reason.

Now this looks to me like "not doing objectives" which, as I always thought, is reportable.

So I said in chat pls report her for not doing objectives and explained, etc...to which killer said "not doing objectives is not reportable, she's just a bad player". Like what? That literally equals to AFKing and throwing the game for others. How can this be NOT reportable?

So is it or is it not?

You can try to report her under "refusing to participate in normal gameplay", but I don't know if it'll do anything. If the last survivors alive are doing that I report them for this and taking the game hostage, because they're basically refusing to advance the game, but when it's just one I don't think they'll face any consequences

Waiting for all of you to die so she can get hatch.

Being selfish a player and hiding all match isn't reportable.

    ???

That would make sense if we were on hooks or smth but we had only 1 gen to finish and game was going good. And she was hiding even before that. There was ZERO reason for a selfish gameplay at that point.

I don't have a answer for why players like that do the things they do.

All I know is hiding and letting your team die is not reportable. To some it's consider a playstyle.

    So following your logic...

Someone who joins the match...and hides from the very beginning not doing anything AT ALL because "they're waiting for everyone else to die" is ok and not reportable...? OKAY. no more questions.

That's simply being afk...your objectives are gens that if you don't do your main objective than it is reportable.

Yes, a "playstyle" that applies at the end of the match...when there's you and one other survivor maybe to increase your chance for a hatch...not for majority of a match!

Obviously this doesn't apply if both players are doing this because then it's just holding the game hostage.

It's not my logic it's the way it is ask a mod.

Yes, moving and hiding from the start not doing anything letting the team die is not reportable.

It's just being a selfish player.

Unless their standing their with AFK crows their not AFK. It's the same thing as a killer standing at the hooked camping their not doing anything it's not reportable.

She was probably doing a challenge or was going for adept for the achievement. If she isn't doing anything than all it means for the Killer is once less person doing something.

For pretty much any reporting instance you also need a recording. I don't think the number of people who report has any impact.

To my understanding, BHVR is cool with survivors playing for hatch. It needs to rise to the level of holding the game hostage. I don't think there is anyway 1 survivor can pull that off.

Outside cheats, the only things I've heard actually resulting in bans is body blocking a survivor into a corner or a survivor and killer actively working together (and both of those have exceptions, the killer can body block to guarantee a kill via the EGC timer and its perfectly legitimate to lead the killer to another survivor as long as you aren't working together).

Not saying I agree, I don't, but that's my experience with it.

For all you know his girlfriend or little sibling was playing that game. Yes, matches like that suck but there’s no need to get so worked up about it that you try to get them banned.

You could try but I don't think it's a reportable offence. It's a ridiculous thing to do - I had a Jonah do the same thing, and when it was just he and I left, and I got put on second hook, I held on to the very end to give the killer time to find him (they did). Jonah made it to the end of the game yet walked away with only 3k bloodpoints for his effort. I'm sure the embarrassment of that was punishment enough.

This. Maybe they were doing a challenge or it was someone else on the account playing. Even if they weren't it's not reportable as I am negan stated.

They weren't griefing or doing something bannable. I remember someone saying a dev said if someone hid In a locker the whole match and escaped then they won. Just shrug it off and go onto the next match, it's just a game :) I don't mean that in a mean way either, it'll be ok and you'll have better matches I hope!
