Does repeat map prevention not affect the realm?
I remember reading a little while ago that map prevention was enabled to reduce getting the same map over and over. However, I consistently still get the same realm 3 to 4 times in a row. Is it literally just for a specific map WITHIN a realm versus the whole realm?

idk, but Father Cambell’s Chapel must be map of the week or sth; been sent there 9x’s today in just over 2 hours.

I ended up against three different Wraiths each on three different Coldwind maps in a row a couple days ago. So I'd say no, it doesn't factor realm, only specific maps.

I would assume not. It'd be too restrictive, especially for a full solo team. It would have to account for the killer and 4 other people in preventing each of them from getting the same map.

I would understand that if there weren't 19 realms

I don't see why that would be a problem.
We have 20 different realms, if you knock out 5 of them for the realms each player was previously on, that still leaves 15 options. And there are no other factors for determining realm besides map offerings which would trump everything else anyway.

I don't think it cares about realm, only specific map. So you could keep getting RPD if it just alternates between West and East.

Right now Father Cambells Chapel is boosted so the liklihood of playing on that particular map is increased. The Map Repeat Prevention system does still apply to all other maps, and yes this is map specific not realm specific, so you could get two Coldwind maps back to back for example, but they should not be the same map.

can you do something about badham map? there's 5 variations that are essentially the exact same map in different configuration that seems to be coded as different maps because you, guys, couldn't code it as one map. As such, I'm very often experiencing multiple badhams in a row in one session and I hate this map dearly even without being forced on it more often than not.
