Finally Finished DBD! (Until 25th July That Is)

IMG_7512.jpeg

Well, I genuinely can’t believe it, but after a combined playtime of 4,374 (182.25 days - oof) over PS4 / PS5, I’ve finally finished! I know it’s a bit lame, but as a completionist, I genuinely never thought I’d finish DBD (well my goals anyway) so thought I’d like to share some stats and see if anyone wanted to ask anything.

Started: December 2017

Completed: July 2023

All trophies on both PS4 / PS5 (platinum and 100% DLCs)

PS4 Platinum: 15/08/18

PS5 Platinum: 19/12/21

All rifts 100% complete

All survivors Prestige 9

All killers Prestige 9

All ready in time for that sweet Nicolas Cage chapter to drop!

Is it really completed if you haven't p100 everyone.

Thank you! You’ve got a seriously good play count too!

I’d love for cross progression so I could mix it up and play on PC someday and see how different it is.

Hardest / grindiest survivor: Left Behind (doing the last generator and escaping) so upsetting to get so close on both PS4 and PS5 only to get downed at 99% gate. Outbreak Breakout as a close 2nd, opening the gates 20 times on RPD was the definition of pain.

Hardest / grindiest killer: probably the Evil Incarnate - getting 4 kills with Mike Myers using the Tombstone piece was challenging because of someone disconnecting or escaping in the hatch. So glad when I chalked this off. Other considerations, have to be Skilled Huntress for the 100 distance downs was tricky, but occasional boosting made this a bit more bearable. Another shoutout to to the original Deranged Pursuit one (25 Legion Downs) that was truly awful - so glad that was reworked by the time I was on PS5!

it was definitely worse not letting my trophies stack because you knew which trophies would be a nightmare to earn for a 2nd time ha!

Haha I did think long and hard about getting some further than Prestige 9 , but I figured it just wasn’t worthwhile for me. It would be physically impossible to get all of them to it and it would stress me more having odd numbers - I like them all being the same. The rewards stop at Prestige 9, and as much as I wanted a Prestige 100 Steve, you don’t get anything extra for it other than getting a hard time from the killer haha.

Great! Now time to prestige a character up to 100!

Haha I’ve done well to resist it so far and stick to my plan. Don’t know if that will always be the case though hehe

The final boss is a P100 bunny Feng with No Mither and a flashlight.

4,386 more hours and you’ll have played DBD for an entire year’s worth of your life🥳

Kind of a scary thought! I’ll be stepping back for a well-deserved break though - I’ll literally just keep on top of the new chapters / rifts and hibernate in between haha!

I’d say go for the P100 but your reward would be getting lobby dodged, tunneled, or harassed in EGC.
